يجتاز فريجية وغلاطية؛ فيمنعه الروح القدس أن يتكلم بالكلمة في أسيا؛ يزور ميسيا؛ ويحاول الذهاب إلى بثينية، فلا يدعه الروح (Goes through Phrygia and Galatia; is forbidden by the Holy Spirit to preach in Asia; visits Mysia; attempts to go to Bithynia, but is restrained by the Spirit)

يذهب إلى ترواس، حيث يرى رؤيا رجل يقول: «اعبر إلى مكدونية وأعنّا»؛ فيتوجه للوقت إلى مكدونية (Goes to Troas, where he has a vision of a man saying, “Come over into Macedonia, and help us; “immediately proceeds to Macedonia)

يزور ساموثراكي ونيابوليس؛ ويأتي إلى فيلبي، أول مدينة في مكدونية؛ ويقصد موضع الصلاة عند النهر؛ ويكرز بالكلمة؛ فتؤمن ليدية التاجرة من ثياتيرا وتعتمد (Visits Samothracia and Neapolis; comes to Philippi, the chief city of Macedonia; visits a place of prayer at the side of the river; preaches the word; the merchant, Lydia, from Thyatira, is converted and immersed)

يوبخ العرافة؛ ويخرج الروح الشرير من الجارية التي تمارس العرافة (Reproves the soothsayer; causes the evil spirit to come out of the girl who practises divination)

يُضطهد ويُضرب ويُلقى في السجن مع سيلا؛ ويسبح بالتراتيل في السجن؛ فتزلزل زلزلة السجن؛ ويكرز لحافظ السجن المذعور، فيؤمن ويعتمد هو وأهل بيته (Persecuted, beaten, and cast into prison with Silas; sings songs of praise in the prison; an earthquake shakes the prison; he preaches to the alarmed jailer, who believes, and is immersed along with his household)

الولاة يطلقونه لكونه رومانيا (Is released by the civil authorities on the grounds of his being a Roman citizen)

يهرب ليلا إلى بيرية؛ ويكرز في المجمع؛ فيؤمن كثير من النساء الشريفات ورجال (Escapes to Berea by night; preaches in the synagogue; many honorable women and several men believe)

يضطهده اليهود القادمون من تسالونيكي؛ فيشيعه بعض الإخوة إلى أثينا (Persecuted by the Jews who come from Thessalonica; is escorted by some of the brethren to Athens)

يحاجّ اليونانيين في أريوس باغوس (Debates on Mars’ Hill (at the meeting of the Areopagus Council) with Greeks)

يزور كورنثوس؛ ويقيم عند أكيلا وامرأته بريسكلا، وكانا صانعي خيام؛ ويشتغل معهما (Visits Corinth; lives with Aquila and his wife, Priscilla (Prisca), who were tentmakers; joins in their trade)

يحاج في المجمع كل سبت؛ فيرفضه اليهود؛ فيتحول إلى الأمم؛ وينزل عند يوستس؛ ويقيم هناك ثمانية عشر شهرًا يعلم بكلمة الله (Reasons in the synagogue every Sabbath; is rejected by the Jews; turns to the Gentiles; makes his home with Justus; continues there for eighteen months, teaching the word of God)

يضطهده اليهود، ويساق إلى الوالي متهما بالخلاعة الرديئة؛ فترفض الدعوى؛ ثم يودع بعد أيام كثيرة ويسافر بحرا إلى سورية ومعه أكيلا وبريسكلا (Persecuted by Jews, drawn before the deputy, charged with wicked lewdness; accusation dismissed; takes his leave after many days, and sails to Syria, accompanied by Aquila and Priscilla)

يزور أفسس، حيث يترك أكيلا وبريسكلا؛ ويدخل المجمع فيحاج اليهود؛ ثم يبدأ رحلة العودة إلى أُورُشَلِيم؛ ويزور قيصرية؛ ويجتاز كورة غلاطية وفريجية مشددًا التلاميذ (Visits Ephesus, where he leaves Aquila and Priscilla; enters into a synagogue, where he reasons with the Jews; starts on his return trip to Jerusalem; visits Caesarea; crosses over the country of Galatia and Phrygia, strengthening the disciples)

يعود إلى أفسس؛ ويعمّد باسم الرب يسوع، ويضع يديه على التلاميذ فيحل عليهم الروح القدس؛ ويكرز في المجمع؛ ويقيم في أفسس سنتين؛ ويشفي المرضى (Returns to Ephesus; immerses in the name of the Lord Jesus, and lays his hands upon the disciples, who are baptized with the Holy Spirit; preaches in the synagogue; remains in Ephesus for two years; heals the sick people)

يوبخ المعزّمين؛ ويخرج روحًا شريرًا من رجل، فيؤمن كثيرون، ويأتون بكتب السحر ليحرقوها (Rebukes the exorcists; casts an evil spirit out of a man, and many believe, bringing their evil books of sorcery to be burned)

يرسل تيموثاوس وأرسطوس إلى مكدونية، ويلبث هو زمانا في أسيا (Sends Timothy and Erastus into Macedonia, but he himself remains in Asia for a period of time)

انتشار الإنجيل بكرازته يضر بصانعي الأصنام؛ فيُضطهد، ويقوم شغب عظيم في المدينة؛ فيهدئ كاتب المدينة الجمع، ويرفض الشكوى على بولس، ويصرف الجمع (The spread of the gospel through his preaching interferes with the makers of idols; he is persecuted, and a great uproar of the city is created; the town clerk appeases the people; dismisses the accusation against Paul, and disperses the people)

يمضي إلى مكدونية بعد تشديد الكنائس في تلك النواحي؛ ويأتي إلى اليونان فيقيم ثلاثة أشهر؛ ويرجع عبر مكدونية ومعه سوباترس وأرسترخس وسكوندس وغايوس وتيموثاوس وتيخيكس وتروفيمس (Proceeds to Macedonia after strengthening the congregations in that region; comes into Greece and lives for three months; returns through Macedonia, accompanied by Sopater, Aristarchus, Secundus, Gaius, Timothy, Tychicus, and Trophimus)

يزور ترواس؛ ويكرز إلى الفجر؛ ويرد إلى الحياة الفتى (أفتيخوس) الذي سقط من الطاقة (Visits Troas; preaches until daybreak; restores to life the young man (Eutychus) who fell from the window)

يزور أسوس وميتيليني وخيوس وساموس وتروجيليون وميليتس، مسرعًا إلى أُورُشَلِيم ليكون هناك يوم الخمسين (Visits Assos, Mitylene, Chios, Samos, Trogyllium, and Miletus, hastening to Jerusalem, to be there by Pentecost day)

يستدعي قسوس كنيسة أفسس؛ ويحدثهم كيف كرز في آسيا وبتجاربه وشدائده، داعيًا إلى التوبة إلى الله (Sends for the elders of the congregation of Ephesus; relates to them how he had preached in Asia and his temptations and afflictions, urging repentance toward God)

يعلن أنه ذاهب إلى أُورُشَلِيم مقيدا بالروح؛ ويحضهم أن يحترزوا لأنفسهم ولجميع الرعية التي أقامهم الروح القدس عليها أساقفة؛ ثم يجثو ويصلي وينصرف (Declares he was going bound in spirit to Jerusalem; exhorts them to take heed to themselves and the flock over whom the Holy Spirit had made them overseers; kneels down, prays, and leaves)

يزور كوس ورودس وباترا؛ ويركب سفينة عابرة إلى صور (Visits Coos, Rhodes, and Patara; boards a ship bound for Tyre)

يمكث في صور سبعة أيام؛ ويشيعه التلاميذ إلى خارج المدينة؛ فيجثو ويصلي؛ ثم يركب السفينة؛ ويأتي إلى بتولمايس؛ ويسلم على الإخوة، ويقيم يومًا واحدًا (Waits at Tyre for seven days; is brought on his way by the disciples to the outskirts of the city; kneels down and prays; boards the ship; comes to Ptolemais; greets the brethren, and stays for one day)

يمضي إلى قيصرية؛ ويدخل بيت فيلبس المبشر؛ وينذره أغابوس النبي أن لا يذهب إلى أُورُشَلِيم؛ لكنه يتوجه إليها (Departs for Caesarea; enters the house of Philip the evangelist; is admonished by the prophet Agabus not to go to Jerusalem; nevertheless, he proceeds to Jerusalem)

الإخوة يقبلونه بفرح؛ ويحدثهم بما صنع الله في الأمم بخدمته (Is received by the brethren gladly; talks about the things that had been done among the Gentiles through his ministry)

يدخل دار الهيكل؛ فيهيج عليه يهود من أسيا الجمع؛ ويقوم شغب؛ فيجر خارج الهيكل؛ فيتدخل أمير الكتيبة الرومانية ويقبض عليه (Enters the temple courtyard; the people are stirred up against him by some Jews from Asia; an uproar is created; he is thrust out of the temple area; the commander of the Roman garrison intervenes and arrests him)

يُحبس في المعسكر (Is confined in the fortress)

يُحضَر أمام المجمع؛ واحتجاجه (Is brought before the Sanhedrin; his defense)

يُعاد إلى المعسكر (Is returned to the fortress)

يشجعه الرب برؤيا، واعدًا إياه أنه سيشهد في رومية (Is encouraged by a vision from God, promising him that he will give testimony in Rome)

رؤساء اليَهُود يتآمرون على حياته (Jewish leaders conspire against his life)

ابن أخته يحبط هذه المكيدة (This plan is thwarted by his nephew)

يُرسل إلى قيصرية بحراسة عسكرية (Is escorted to Caesarea by a military guard)

يُحرس في قصر هيرودس في قيصرية (Is confined in Herod’s Judgment Hall in Caesarea)

محاكمته أمام الوالي فيلكس (His trial before Governor Felix)

يساق إلى رومية في عهدة يوليوس قائد المئة وفرقة من العسكر؛ ويركب سفينة مع أسرى آخرين، ويسافر بمحاذاة سواحل أسيا؛ ويقف في صيدا وفي ميرا (Is taken to Rome in the custody of Julius, a centurion, and a detachment of soldiers; boards a ship, accompanied by other prisoners, and sails by way of the coasts of Asia; stops at Sidon, and at Myra)

ينقل إلى سفينة إسكندرية؛ ويسافر عبر كنيدس وكريت وسلموني والمواني الحسنة (Transferred to a ship of Alexandria; sails by way of Cnidus, Crete, Salamis, and the Fair Havens)

ينذر بخطر على السفينة؛ فلا يُسمع لمشورته، وتستأنف الرحلة (Predicts misfortune to the ship; his counsel not heeded, and the voyage resumes)

تصادف السفينة عاصفة؛ فيشجع بولس الضباط والنوتية ويعزيهم؛ ويشير العسكر بقتل الأسرى؛ فيمنعهم قائد المئة، فينجو جميع من في السفينة (وهم مئتان وستة وسبعون نفسا) (The ship encounters a storm; Paul encourages and comforts the officers and crew; the soldiers advise putting the prisoners to death; the centurion interferes, and all on board (consisting of two-hundred and seventy-six persons) survive)

تنكسر السفينة، وينجو جميع من فيها إلى جزيرة مليطة (مالطة) (The ship is wrecked, and all on board take refuge on the island of Melita (Malta))

معاملة لطيفة من أهل الجزيرة (Kind treatment by the inhabitants of the island)

تنشب أفعى في يده فلا يصيبه ضرر (Is bitten by a viper and miraculously unharmed)

يتأخر في مليطة (مالطة) ثلاثة أشهر؛ ثم يتابع السفر؛ ويمكث في سيراكوسا؛ ويمر بريغيون وبوطيولي (Is delayed in Melita (Malta) for three months; proceeds on the voyage; delays at Syracuse; sails by Rhegium and Puteoli)

يلقاه إخوة من فورن أبيوس فيرافقونه إلى رومية؛ ويصل إلى رومية؛ ويُسلّم إلى رئيس المعسكر؛ ويؤذن له أن يقيم وحده مع العسكري الذي يحرسه (Meets some brethren who accompany him to Rome from Appii Forum; arrives at Rome; is delivered to the captain of the guard; is permitted to live by himself in custody of a soldier)

يستدعي وجوه اليهود؛ ويبين موقفه؛ فيقبل بلطف؛ ويشرح الإنجيل؛ ويشهد لملكوت السماوات (Summons the local Jewish leadership; states his position; is kindly received; expounds the gospel; testifies to the kingdom of heaven)

يقيم سنتين في بيت استأجره لنفسه، كارزًا ومعلّمًا (Lives in his own rented house for two years, preaching and teaching)
