دخلوا خدمتهم في سن الخامسة والعشرين (Entered on their service at twenty-five years of age)
عُدّوا للخدمة من سن الثلاثين (Numbered as ministers at thirty)
اعتزلوا الخدمة عند سن الخمسين (Superannuated at fifty)
عند اعتزالهم كان عليهم أداء الواجبات الأخف (When superannuated required to perform the less arduous duties)

بكلماته الأخيرة عدّهم من ابن عشرين سنة (By his last words had them numbered from twenty years old)
جعلهم يخدمون من سن العشرين لخفة واجباتهم (Made them serve from twenty on account of the lightness of their duties)
قُسموا إلى أربع وعشرين فرقة (Subdivided into 24 courses)
جعلهم يخدمون في فرق (Made them attend in courses)
