ٱلْقِدِّيسُونَ مَدْعُوُّونَ لِأَنْ يَكُونُوا كَذَلِكَ (Saints are called to be)
جميع القديسين هم كذلك (All saints are)
ٱلْقِدِّيسُونَ يَعْتَرِفُونَ بِأَنَّهُمْ كَذَلِكَ (Saints confess themselves)
لا يستحي الله أن يُدعى إلههم (God is not ashamed to be called their God)
كقديسين هم (AS SAINTS THEY)
لهم مثال المسيح (Have the example of Christ)
يقويهم الله (Are strengthened by God)
يسيرون بالإيمان (Are actuated by faith)
وجوههم نحو صِهْيَوْن (Have their faces toward Zion)
يبقون الموعود نصب أعينهم (Keep the promised in view)
يتركون الكل لأجل المسيح (Forsake all for Christ)
يبتغون وطنًا سماويًا (Look for a heavenly country)
ينتظرون مدينة سماوية (Look for a heavenly city)
يسلكون زمان غربتهم بخوف (Pass their sojourning in fear)
يفرحون بفرائض الله (Rejoice in the statutes of God)
يصلون لأجل الهداية (Pray for direction)
لهم سيرة سماوية (Have a heavenly conversation)
يبغضون شركة العالم (Hate worldly fellowship)
لا يلتفتون إلى هذا العالم (Are not mindful of this world)
ليسوا في وطنهم في هذا العالم (Are not at home in this world)
يضيئون كأنوار في العالم (Shine as lights in the world)
يدعون الآخرين للذهاب معهم (Invite others to go with them)
يتعرضون للاضطهاد (Are exposed to persecution)
ينبغي أن يمتنعوا عن الشهوات الجسدية (Should abstain from fleshly lusts)
ينبغي أن يكون كنزهم في السماء (Should have their treasure in heaven)
ينبغي ألا يهتموا جدًا بأمور العالم (Should not be over anxious about worldly things)
يتوقون إلى انتهاء غربتهم (Long for their pilgrimage to end)
يموتون في الإيمان (Die in faith)
العالم غير مستحق لهم (The world is not worthy of)
