ٱلْمَسَاء (EVENING, THE)

ٱلْيَوْمُ كَانَ يَبْدَأُ أَصْلًا بِ (The day originally began with)

يَنْقَسِمُ إِلَى قِسْمَيْنِ، يَبْدَآنِ عِنْدَ ٱلسَّاعَةِ ٱلثَّالِثَةِ وَعِنْدَ غُرُوبِ ٱلشَّمْس (Divided into two, commencing at 3 o'clock, and sunset)

يَمُدُّ ظِلَالَهُ (Stretches out its shadows)

مَشَارِفُهُ تُسَبِّحُ ٱلله (The outgoings of, praise God)

ٱلْإِنْسَانُ يَكُفُّ عَنِ ٱلْعَمَلِ فِي (Man ceases from labour in)

عَادَةُ ٱلْجُلُوسِ عِنْدَ ٱلْأَبْوَابِ فِي (Custom of sitting at the gates in)

جَمِيعُ ٱلْمُتَنَجِّسِينَ يَبْقَوْنَ نَجِسِينَ إِلَى (All defiled persons uncleaned until)

جُزْءٌ مِنَ ٱلذَّبِيحَةِ ٱلْيَوْمِيَّةِ يُقَدَّمُ فِي (Part of the daily sacrifice offered in)

خَرُوفُ ٱلْفِصْحِ يُذْبَحُ فِي (Paschal lamb killed in)

ٱلْمَنَارَةُ ٱلذَّهَبِيَّةُ تُوقَدُ فِي (The golden candlestick lighted in)

ٱحْمِرَارُ ٱلسَّمَاءِ فِيهِ عَلَامَةُ طَقْسٍ حَسَن (The sky red in, a token of fair weather)

يُسَمَّى (CALLED)

وَقْتٌ لِ (A SEASON FOR)
