தேவனுடைய ஆலயத்தின்மேலும் ஆராதனையின்மேலும் வைக்கப்படவேண்டும் (Should be set upon the house and worship of God)
தேவனுடைய மக்கள்மேல் வைக்கப்படவேண்டும் (Should be set upon the people of God)
மேலானவைகளின்மேல் வைக்கப்படவேண்டும் (Should be set upon heavenly things)
தேவனுக்காகப் பக்திவைராக்கியத்துடன் இருக்கவேண்டும் (Should be zealously engaged for God)
அவற்றில் கிறிஸ்து முதலிடத்தைக் கோருகிறார் (Christ claims the first place in)
கிறிஸ்துவோடுள்ள ஐக்கியத்தினால் கொழுந்துவிட்டு எரிகின்றன (Enkindled by communion with Christ)
தேவன்மேல் வாஞ்சையாக இருப்பதின் பாக்கியம் (Blessedness of making God the object of)
தணிந்துபோகக்கூடாது (Should not grow cold)
பரிசுத்தவான்களுடையவை, எல்லாவற்றிற்கும் மேலாகத் தேவன்மேல் வைக்கப்பட்டவை (Of saints, supremely set on God)
துன்மார்க்கருடையவை, தேவன்மேல் உண்மையாக வைக்கப்படாதவை (Of the wicked, not sincerely set on God)
சரீர ஆசைகள், அழிக்கப்படவேண்டும் (Carnal, should be mortified)
பரிசுத்தவான்களில் சிலுவையில் அறையப்பட்ட சரீர ஆசைகள் (Carnal affections crucified in saints)
கள்ளப்போதகர்கள் அவற்றை வசப்படுத்த முயலுகிறார்கள் (False teachers seek to captivate)
துன்மார்க்கருடையவை, சுபாவத்திற்கு மாறானவையும் சீர்கெட்டவையுமாக இருக்கின்றன (Of the wicked, are unnatural and perverted)
