ذكر أو أنثى من البقر أو الغنم (A male or female of herd or flock)
يجب أن تكون صحيحة بلا عيب (Required to be perfect and free from blemish)
ذبيحة الشكر تؤكل يوم تقديمها (If a thanksgiving offering to be eaten the day offered)
ذبيحة النذر تؤكل في اليوم نفسه أو في الغد (If a votive offering to be eaten the same day or the next)
تؤكل أمام الرب (To be eaten before the Lord)
لا يأكل منها شخص نجس (No unclean person to eat of)
المقدم المطلوب (THE OFFERER REQUIRED)
تُقدّم طوعًا (To give it freely)
يأتي بها بنفسه (To bring it himself)
يضع يده على رأسها (To lay his hand upon its head)
تُذبح عند باب خيمة الاجتماع (To kill it at tabernacle door)
الكاهن (THE PRIEST)
تُعدّ (Prepared)
يُرش الدم على المذبح (Sprinkled the blood on the altar)
يقدّم الشحم الداخلي وغيره بالنار (Offered the inside fat, &c by fire)
يوضع شحمها على المحرقة اليومية ليحترق معها (Laid it upon the daily burnt offering to be consumed with it)
يردّد الصدر تقدمة ترديد (Waved the breast as a wave-offering)
يرفع الكتف الأيمن تقدمة رفع (Heaved the right shoulder as an heave-offering)
كان الكتف والصدر نصيب الكاهن (Had the shoulder and breast as his portion)
قربان مقبول جدًا (An offering most acceptable)
ترافقها عادة محرقة (Generally accompanied by a burnt-offering)
ترافقها غالبًا ذبيحة خطية (Often accompanied by a sin-offering)
