ٱلْعِتَابُ (CHIDING)
قَايِينَ يُعَاتِبُ ٱللهَ (Cain chides God)
فِرْعَوْنُ يُعَاتِبُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ لِدَعْوَتِهِ زَوْجَتَهُ أُخْتَهُ (Pharaoh chides Abraham, for calling his wife his sister)
أَبِيمَالِكُ يُعَاتِبُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَلَى خَطَإٍ مُمَاثِلٍ (Abimelech chides Abraham for a like offense)
أَبِيمَالِكُ يُعَاتِبُ إِسْحَاقَ عَلَى سُلُوكٍ مُمَاثِلٍ (Abimelech chides Isaac for similar conduct)
إِسْحَاقُ وَلَابَانُ يُعَاتِبُ كُلٌّ مِنْهُمَا ٱلْآخَرَ (Isaac and Laban chide each other)
يَعْقُوبُ يُعَاتِبُ شَمْعُونَ وَلَاوِيَ لِقَتْلِهِمَا حَمُورَ وَشَكِيمَ (Jacob chides Simeon and Levi for killing Hamor and Shechem)
رَأُوبَيْنُ يُعَاتِبُ إِخْوَتَهُ عَلَى مُعَامَلَتِهِمْ لِيُوسُفَ (Reuben chides his brothers for their treatment of Joseph)
بَنُو إِسْرَائِيلَ يُعَاتِبُونَ مُوسَى وَيُجَرِّبُونَ ٱللهَ (Israelites chide Moses and tempt God)
دَبُورَةُ تُعَاتِبُ إِسْرَائِيلَ فِي نَشِيدِهَا (Deborah chides Israel in her epic)
دَاوُدُ يُعَاتِبُ يُوآبَ لِقَتْلِهِ أَبْنَيْرَ (David chides Joab for killing Abner)
يُوآبُ يُعَاتِبُ دَاوُدَ عَلَى نَوْحِهِ عَلَى مَوْتِ أَبْشَالُومَ (Joab chides David for lamenting the death of Absalom)
بِسَبَبِ عَدَمِ إِيمَانِهِمْ (On account of their unbelief)
لِبُطْءِ ٱلْقَلْبِ (For slowness of heart)
لِلنَّوْمِ فِي جَثْسِيمَانِي (For sleeping in Gethsemane)
لِمَنْعِ ٱلْأَوْلَادِ مِنَ ٱلْإِتْيَانِ بِهِمْ إِلَيْهِ (For forbidding children to be brought to him)
