自以為免受罪的禍患；許自己平安長壽 (From the evils of sin; promises peace and a long life)

倚靠謊詐 (Trusts in lies)
不加思想、不記念終局 (Is inconsiderate and forgetful)
倚靠世上的財寶 (Relies on earthly treasures)
被驕傲欺哄 (Is deceived by pride)
以為降禍的日子尚遠 (Puts off the evil day)
使罪愆加增 (Leads to increased guilt)
