Romans 11:33

← Romans 11:32 Romans 11:33 (KJV) Romans 11:34 →
For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.
O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!
For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor?

  • G421 — ἀνεξιχνίαστος (anexichníastos, an-ex-ikh-nee'-as-tos): from Α (A) G1 (as a negative particle) and a presumed derivative of a compound of ἐκ (ek) G1537 and a derivative of ἴχνος (íchnos) G2487; not tracked out, i.e. (by implication) untraceable; past finding out; unsearchable
  • G846 — αὐτός (autós, ow-tos'): from the particle αὖ (aû) (perhaps akin to the base of ἀήρ (aḗr) G109 through the idea of a baffling wind) (backward); the reflexive pronoun self, used (alone or in the comparative ἑαυτοῦ (heautoû) G1438) of the third person , and (with the proper personal pronoun) of the other persons; her, it(-self), one, the other, (mine) own, said, (self-), the) same, ((him-, my-, thy- )self, (your-)selves, she, that, their(-s), them(-selves), there(-at, - by, -in, -into, -of, -on, -with), they, (these) things, this (man), those, together, very, which. Compare αὑτοῦ (hautoû) G848.
  • G899 — βάθος (báthos, bath'-os): from the same as βαθύς (bathýs) G901; profundity, i.e. (by implication) extent; (figuratively) mystery; deep(-ness, things), depth
  • G1108 — γνῶσις (gnōsis, gno'-sis): from γινώσκω (ginṓskō) G1097; knowing (the act), i.e. (by implication) knowledge; knowledge, science
  • G2316 — θεός (theós, theh'-os): of uncertain affinity; a deity, especially (with ὁ (ho) G3588) the supreme Divinity; figuratively, a magistrate; by Hebraism, very; X exceeding, God, god(-ly, -ward)
  • G2532 — καί (kaí, kahee): apparently, a primary particle, having a copulative and sometimes also a cumulative force; and, also, even, so then, too, etc.; often used in connection (or composition) with other particles or small words; and, also, both, but, even, for, if, or, so, that, then, therefore, when, yet
  • G2917 — κρίμα (kríma, kree'-mah): from κρίνω (krínō) G2919; a decision (the function or the effect, for or against ("crime")); avenge, condemned, condemnation, damnation, + go to law, judgment
  • G3598 — ὁδός (hodós, hod-os'): apparently a primary word; a road; by implication, a progress (the route, act or distance); figuratively, a mode or means; journey, (high-)way
  • G4149 — πλοῦτος (ploûtos, ploo'-tos): from the base of πλήθω (plḗthō) G4130; wealth (as fulness), i.e. (literally) money, possessions, or (figuratively) abundance, richness, (specially), valuable bestowment; riches
  • G4678 — σοφία (sophía, sof-ee'-ah): from σοφός (sophós) G4680; wisdom (higher or lower, worldly or spiritual); wisdom
  • G5599 — ὦ (ō, o): a primary interjection; as a sign of the vocative case, O; as a note of exclamation, oh; O
  • G5613 — ὡς (hōs, hoce): probably adverb of comparative from ὅς (hós) G3739; which how, i.e. in that manner (very variously used, as follows); about, after (that), (according) as (it had been, it were), as soon (as), even as (like), for, how (greatly), like (as, unto), since, so (that), that, to wit, unto, when(-soever), while, X with all speed

The following Strong's numbers are referenced in the Greek (Textus Receptus, Scrivener 1894) text but were not explicitly tagged in the KJV source:
