رَئِيسُ ٱلْكَهَنَةِ (The high priest)

الكهنة العاديون (Ordinary priests)

الأشخاص العاملون في خدمة الله (Persons engaged in the service of God)

غالبًا من كتان (Generally of linen)

أُمر بصنعه (Commanded to be made)

مصنوع من تقدمات الشعب (Made of offerings of the people)

مصنوع من ذهب وأسمانجوني وأرجوان وقرمز وغيرها (Made of gold, blue, purple, scarlet, &c)

كتفاه موصولان بحجري جزع منقوش عليهما أسماء أسباط إسرائيل الاثني عشر (Shoulders of, joined by onyx stones engraved with names of the twelve tribes of Israel)

له زنّار صنعة حاذقة (Had a girdle of curious work)

صُدرة القضاء متصلة به اتصالًا لا ينفصل (Breastplate of judgment inseparably united to)

يُلبس فوق الجبة (Worn over the robe)

مشدود بمنطقته الخاصة (Fastened on with its own girdle)

يلبسه أو يمسكه عند الاستشارة (Worn or held by him when consulted)

استعمله كهنة الأوثان (Used by idolatrous priests)

حُرم إسرائيل منه بسبب الخطيئة (Israel deprived of, for sin)
