Psalms 68:17

← Psalms 68:16 Psalms 68:17 (KJV) Psalms 68:18 →
Why leap ye, ye high hills? this is the hill which God desireth to dwell in; yea, the LORD will dwell in it for ever.
The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands of angels: the Lord is among them, as in Sinai, in the holy place.
Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive: thou hast received gifts for men; yea, for the rebellious also, that the LORD God might dwell among them.

  • H7239 — רִבּוֹ (ribbôw, rib-bo'): from רָבַב (râbab) H7231; or רִבּוֹא (ribbôwʼ) from רָבַב (râbab) H7231; a myriad, i.e. indefinitely, large number; great things, ten ((eight) -een, (for) -ty, [phrase] sixscore, [phrase] threescore, [idiom] twenty, (twen) -ty) thousand.
  • H7393 — רֶכֶב (rekeb, reh'-keb): from רָכַב (râkab) H7392; a vehicle; by implication, a team; by extension, cavalry; by analogy a rider, i.e. the upper millstone; chariot, (upper) millstone, multitude (from the margin), wagon.
