- G2532 — καί (kaí, kahee): apparently, a primary particle, having a copulative and sometimes also a cumulative force; and, also, even, so then, too, etc.; often used in connection (or composition) with other particles or small words; and, also, both, but, even, for, if, or, so, that, then, therefore, when, yet
- G3522 — νηστεύω (nēsteúō, nace-tyoo'-o): from νῆστις (nēstis) G3523; to abstain from food (religiously); fast
- G3571 — νύξ (nýx, noox): a primary word; "night" (literally or figuratively); (mid-)night
- G3983 — πεινάω (peináō, pi-nah'-o): from the same as πένης (pénēs) G3993 (through the idea of pinching toil; "pine"); to famish (absolutely or comparatively); figuratively, to crave; be an hungered
- G5062 — τεσσαράκοντα (tessarákonta, tes-sar-ak'-on-tah): the decade of τέσσαρες (téssares) G5064; forty; forty
- G5305 — ὕστερον (hýsteron, hoos'-ter-on): neuter of ὕστερος (hýsteros) G5306 as adverb; more lately, i.e. eventually; afterward, (at the) last (of all)
