Strong's References
  • G766 — ἀσέλγεια (asélgeia, as-elg'-i-a): from a compound of Α (A) G1 (as a negative particle) and a presumed σελγής (selgḗs) (of uncertain derivation, but apparently meaning continent); licentiousness (sometimes including other vices); filthy, lasciviousness, wantonness
  • G877 — ἀφροσύνη (aphrosýnē, af-ros-oo'-nay): from ἄφρων (áphrōn) G878; senselessness, i.e. (euphemistically) egotism; (morally) recklessness; folly, foolishly(-ness)
  • G988 — βλασφημία (blasphēmía, blas-fay-me'-ah): from βλάσφημος (blásphēmos) G989; vilification (especially against God); blasphemy, evil speaking, railing
  • G1388 — δόλος (dólos, dol'-os): from an obsolete primary verb, δέλλω (déllō) (probably meaning to decoy; compare δελεάζω (deleázō) G1185); a trick (bait), i.e. (figuratively) wile; craft, deceit, guile, subtilty
  • G2829 — κλοπή (klopḗ, klop-ay'): from κλέπτω (kléptō) G2813; stealing; theft
  • G3788 — ὀφθαλμός (ophthalmós, of-thal-mos'): from ὀπτάνομαι (optánomai) G3700; the eye (literally or figuratively); by implication, vision; figuratively, envy (from the jealous side-glance); eye, sight
  • G4124 — πλεονεξία (pleonexía, pleh-on-ex-ee'-ah): from πλεονέκτης (pleonéktēs) G4123; avarice, i.e. (by implication) fraudulency, extortion; covetous(-ness) practices, greediness
  • G4189 — πονηρία (ponēría, pon-ay-ree'-ah): from πονηρός (ponērós) G4190; depravity, i.e. (specially), malice; plural (concretely) plots, sins; iniquity, wickedness
  • G4190 — πονηρός (ponērós, pon-ay-ros'): from a derivative of πόνος (pónos) G4192; hurtful, i.e. evil (properly, in effect or influence, and thus differing from κακός (kakós) G2556, which refers rather to essential character, as well as from σαπρός (saprós) G4550, which indicates degeneracy from original virtue); figuratively, calamitous; also (passively) ill, i.e. diseased; but especially (morally) culpable, i.e. derelict, vicious, facinorous; neuter (singular) mischief, malice, or (plural) guilt; masculine (singular) the devil, or (plural) sinners; bad, evil, grievous, harm, lewd, malicious, wicked(-ness). See also πονηρότερος (ponēróteros) G4191.
  • G5243 — ὑπερηφανία (hyperēphanía, hoop-er-ay-fan-ee'-ah): from ὑπερήφανος (hyperḗphanos) G5244; haughtiness; pride
