Ezekiel 19:2
| ← Ezekiel 19:1 | Ezekiel 19:2 (KJV) | Ezekiel 19:3 → |
|---|---|---|
Moreover take thou up a lamentation for the princes of Israel,
|
And say, What is thy mother? A lioness: she lay down among lions, she nourished her whelps among young lions.
|
And she brought up one of her whelps: it became a young lion, and it learned to catch the prey; it devoured men.

The following Strong's numbers are referenced in the Hebrew (Westminster Leningrad Codex) text but were not explicitly tagged in the KJV source:
- H996 — בֵּין (bêyn, bane): (sometimes in the plural masculine or feminine); properly, the constructive form of an otherwise unused noun from בִּין (bîyn) H995; a distinction; but used only as a preposition; between (repeated before each noun, often with other particles); also as a conjunction, either...or; among, asunder, at, between (-twixt...and), [phrase] from (the widest), [idiom] in, out of, whether (it be...or), within.
- H4100 — מָה (mâh, maw): or מַה (mah); or מָ (mâ); or מַ (ma); also מֶה (meh); a primitive particle; properly, interrogative what? (including how? why? when?); but also exclamation, what!
