Strong's References
  • G11 — Ἀβραάμ (Abraám, ab-rah-am'): of Hebrew origin (H85); Abraham, the Hebrew patriarch; Abraham. (In Acts 7:16 the text should probably read Jacob.)
  • G694 — ἀργύριον (argýrion, ar-goo'-ree-on): neuter of a presumed derivative of ἄργυρος (árgyros) G696; silvery, i.e. (by implication) cash; specially, a silverling (i.e. drachma or shekel); money, (piece of) silver (piece)
  • G1519 — εἰς (eis, ice): a primary preposition; to or into (indicating the point reached or entered), of place, time, or (figuratively) purpose (result, etc.); also in adverbial phrases; (abundant-)ly, against, among, as, at, (back-)ward, before, by, concerning, + continual, + far more exceeding, for (intent, purpose), fore, + forth, in (among, at, unto, -so much that, -to), to the intent that, + of one mind, + never, of, (up-)on, + perish, + set at one again, (so) that, therefore(-unto), throughout, til, to (be, the end, -ward), (here-)until(-to), …ward, (where-)fore, with. Often used in composition with the same general import, but only with verbs (etc.) expressing motion (literally or figuratively).
  • G1697 — Ἐμμόρ (Emmór, em-mor'): of Hebrew origin (H2544); Emmor (i.e. Chamor), a Canaanite; Emmor
  • G1722 — ἐν (en, en): a primary preposition denoting (fixed) position (in place, time or state), and (by implication) instrumentality (medially or constructively), i.e. a relation of rest (intermediate between εἰς (eis) G1519 and ἐκ (ek) G1537); "in," at, (up-)on, by, etc.; about, after, against, + almost, X altogether, among, X as, at, before, between, (here-)by (+ all means), for (… sake of), + give self wholly to, (here-)in(-to, -wardly), X mightily, (because) of, (up-)on, (open-)ly, X outwardly, one, X quickly, X shortly, (speedi-)ly, X that, X there(-in, -on), through(-out), (un-)to(-ward), under, when, where(-with), while, with(-in). Often used in compounds, with substantially the same import; rarely with verbs of motion, and then not to indicate direction, except (elliptically) by a separate (and different) preposition.
  • G2532 — καί (kaí, kahee): apparently, a primary particle, having a copulative and sometimes also a cumulative force; and, also, even, so then, too, etc.; often used in connection (or composition) with other particles or small words; and, also, both, but, even, for, if, or, so, that, then, therefore, when, yet
  • G3346 — μετατίθημι (metatíthēmi, met-at-ith'-ay-mee): from μετά (metá) G3326 and τίθημι (títhēmi) G5087; to transfer, i.e. (literally) transport, (by implication) exchange, (reflexively) change sides, or (figuratively) pervert; carry over, change, remove, translate, turn
  • G3418 — μνῆμα (mnēma, mnay'-mah): from μνάομαι (mnáomai) G3415; a memorial, i.e. sepulchral monument (burial-place); grave, sepulchre, tomb
  • G3588 — ὁ (ho, ho): the definite article; the (sometimes to be supplied, at others omitted, in English idiom); the, this, that, one, he, she, it, etc
  • G3739 — ὅς (hós, hos): probably a primary word (or perhaps a form of the article ὁ (ho) G3588); the relatively (sometimes demonstrative) pronoun, who, which, what, that; one, (an-, the) other, some, that, what, which, who(-m, -se), etc. See also οὗ (hoû) G3757.
  • G3844 — παρά (pará, par-ah'): a primary preposition; properly, near; i.e. (with genitive case) from beside (literally or figuratively), (with dative case) at (or in) the vicinity of (objectively or subjectively), (with accusative case) to the proximity with (local (especially beyond or opposed to) or causal (on account of); above, against, among, at, before, by, contrary to, X friend, from, + give (such things as they), + that (she) had, X his, in, more than, nigh unto, (out) of, past, save, side…by, in the sight of, than, (there-)fore, with. In compounds it retains the same variety of application.
  • G4966 — Συχέμ (Sychém, soo-khem'): of Hebrew origin (H7927); Sychem (i.e. Shekem), the name of a Canaanite and of a place in Palestine; Sychem
  • G5087 — τίθημι (títhēmi, tith'-ay-mee): a prolonged form of a primary θέω (théō) theh'-o (which is used only as alternate in certain tenses); to place (in the widest application, literally and figuratively; properly, in a passive or horizontal posture, and thus different from ἵστημι (hístēmi) G2476, which properly denotes an upright and active position, while κεῖμαι (keîmai) G2749 is properly reflexive and utterly prostrate); + advise, appoint, bow, commit, conceive, give, X kneel down, lay (aside, down, up), make, ordain, purpose, put, set (forth), settle, sink down
  • G5092 — τιμή (timḗ, tee-may'): from τίνω (tínō) G5099; a value, i.e. money paid, or (concretely and collectively) valuables; by analogy, esteem (especially of the highest degree), or the dignity itself; honour, precious, price, some
