Strong's References
- G2246 — ἥλιος (hḗlios, hay'-lee-os): from ἕλη (hélē) (a ray; perhaps akin to the alternate of αἱρέομαι (hairéomai) G138); the sun; by implication, light; + east, sun
- G2532 — καί (kaí, kahee): apparently, a primary particle, having a copulative and sometimes also a cumulative force; and, also, even, so then, too, etc.; often used in connection (or composition) with other particles or small words; and, also, both, but, even, for, if, or, so, that, then, therefore, when, yet
- G2665 — καταπέτασμα (katapétasma, kat-ap-et'-as-mah): from a compound of κατά (katá) G2596 and a congener of πέτομαι (pétomai) G4072; something spread thoroughly, i.e. (specially) the door screen (to the Most Holy Place) in the Jewish Temple; vail
- G3319 — μέσος (mésos, mes'-os): from μετά (metá) G3326; middle (as an adjective or (neuter) noun); among, X before them, between, + forth, mid(-day, -night), midst, way
- G3485 — ναός (naós, nah-os'): from a primary ναίω (naíō) (to dwell); a fane, shrine, temple; shrine, temple. Compare ἱερόν (hierón) G2411.
- G4654 — σκοτίζω (skotízō, skot-id-zo): from σκότος (skótos) G4655; to obscure (literally or figuratively); darken
- G4977 — σχίζω (schízō, skhid'-zo): apparently a primary verb; to split or sever (literally or figuratively); break, divide, open, rend, make a rent
The following Strong's numbers are referenced in the Greek (Textus Receptus, Scrivener 1894) text but were not explicitly tagged in the KJV source:
- G3588 — ὁ (ho, ho): the definite article; the (sometimes to be supplied, at others omitted, in English idiom); the, this, that, one, he, she, it, etc
