Judges 7:22

← Judges 7:21 Judges 7:22 (KJV) Judges 7:23 →
And they stood every man in his place round about the camp: and all the host ran, and cried, and fled.
And the three hundred blew the trumpets, and the LORD set every man's sword against his fellow, even throughout all the host: and the host fled to Bethshittah in Zererath, and to the border of Abelmeholah, unto Tabbath.
And the men of Israel gathered themselves together out of Naphtali, and out of Asher, and out of all Manasseh, and pursued after the Midianites.

  • H2719 — חֶרֶב (chereb, kheh'-reb): from חָרַב (chârab) H2717; drought; also a cutting instrument (from its destructive effect), as a knife, sword, or other sharp implement; axe, dagger, knife, mattock, sword, tool.

  • H3967 — מֵאָה (mêʼâh, may-aw'): or מֵאיָה (mêʼyâh); properly, a primitive numeral; a hundred; also as a multiplicative and a fraction; hundred((-fold), -th), [phrase] sixscore.

  • H6888 — צְרֵרָה (Tsᵉrêrâh, tser-ay-raw'): apparently by erroneous transcription for צְרֵדָה (Tsᵉrêdâh) H6868; Tsererah for Tseredah; Zererath.
  • H7453 — רֵעַ (rêaʻ, ray'-ah): or רֵיעַ (rêyaʻ); from רָעָה (râʻâh) H7462; an associate (more or less close); brother, companion, fellow, friend, husband, lover, neighbour, [idiom] (an-) other.
