Often used in compounds, with substantially the same import; rarely with verbs of motion, and then not to indicate direction, except (elliptically) by a separate (and different) preposition.
  • G2531 — καθώς (kathṓs, kath-oce'): from κατά (katá) G2596 and ὡς (hōs) G5613; just (or inasmuch) as, that; according to, (according, even) as, how, when
  • G2730 — κατοικέω (katoikéō, kat-oy-keh'-o): from κατά (katá) G2596 and οἰκέω (oikéō) G3611; to house permanently, i.e. reside (literally or figuratively); dwell(-er), inhabitant(-ter)
  • G3004 — λέγω (légō, leg'-o): a primary verb; properly, to "lay" forth, i.e. (figuratively) relate (in words (usually of systematic or set discourse; whereas ἔπω (épō) G2036 and φημί (phēmí) G5346 generally refer to an individual expression or speech respectively; while ῥέω (rhéō) G4483 is properly to break silence merely, and λαλέω (laléō) G2980 means an extended or random harangue)); by implication, to mean; ask, bid, boast, call, describe, give out, name, put forth, say(-ing, on), shew, speak, tell, utter
  • G3485 — ναός (naós, nah-os'): from a primary ναίω (naíō) (to dwell); a fane, shrine, temple; shrine, temple. Compare ἱερόν (hierón) G2411.
  • G3756 — οὐ (ou, oo): a primary word; the absolute negative (compare μή (mḗ) G3361) adverb; no or not; + long, nay, neither, never, no (X man), none, (can-)not, + nothing, + special, un(-worthy), when, + without, + yet but. See also οὐ μή (ou mḗ) G3364, μῆκος (mēkos) G3372.
  • G4396 — προφήτης (prophḗtēs, prof-ay'-tace): from a compound of πρό (pró) G4253 and φημί (phēmí) G5346; a foreteller ("prophet"); by analogy, an inspired speaker; by extension, a poet; prophet
  • G5310 — ὕψιστος (hýpsistos, hoop'-sis-tos): superlative from the base of ὕψος (hýpsos) G5311; highest, i.e. (masculine singular) the Supreme (God), or (neuter plural) the heavens; most high, highest
  • G5499 — χειροποίητος (cheiropoíētos, khi-rop-oy'-ay-tos): from χείρ (cheír) G5495 and a derivative of ποιέω (poiéō) G4160; manufactured, i.e. of human construction; made by (make with) hands

The following Strong's numbers are referenced in the Greek (Textus Receptus, Scrivener 1894) text but were not explicitly tagged in the KJV source:

  • G3588 — ὁ (ho, ho): the definite article; the (sometimes to be supplied, at others omitted, in English idiom); the, this, that, one, he, she, it, etc
