2 Corinthians 11:5

← 2 Corinthians 11:4 2 Corinthians 11:5 (KJV) 2 Corinthians 11:6 →
For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.
For I suppose I was not a whit behind the very chiefest apostles.
But though I be rude in speech, yet not in knowledge; but we have been throughly made manifest among you in all things.

  • G1063 — γάρ (gár, gar): a primary particle; properly, assigning a reason (used in argument, explanation or intensification; often with other particles); and, as, because (that), but, even, for, indeed, no doubt, seeing, then, therefore, verily, what, why, yet
  • G3029 — λίαν (lían, lee'-an): of uncertain affinity; much (adverbially); exceeding, great(-ly), sore, very (+ chiefest)
  • G3049 — λογίζομαι (logízomai, log-id'-zom-ahee): middle voice from λόγος (lógos) G3056; to take an inventory, i.e. estimate (literally or figuratively); conclude, (ac-)count (of), + despise, esteem, impute, lay, number, reason, reckon, suppose, think (on)
  • G3367 — μηδείς (mēdeís, may-dice'): from μή (mḗ) G3361 and εἷς (heîs) G1520; not even one (man, woman, thing); any (man, thing), no (man), none, not (at all, any man, a whit), nothing, + without delay
  • G5228 — ὑπέρ (hypér, hoop-er'): a primary preposition; "over", i.e. (with the genitive case) of place, above, beyond, across, or causal, for the sake of, instead, regarding; with the accusative case superior to, more than; (+ exceeding, abundantly) above, in (on) behalf of, beyond, by, + very chiefest, concerning, exceeding (above, -ly), for, + very highly, more (than), of, over, on the part of, for sake of, in stead, than, to(-ward), very. In the comparative, it retains many of the above applications.
  • G5302 — ὑστερέω (hysteréō, hoos-ter-eh'-o): from ὕστερος (hýsteros) G5306; to be later, i.e. (by implication) to be inferior; generally, to fall short (be deficient); come behind (short), be destitute, fail, lack, suffer need, (be in) want, be the worse

The following Strong's numbers are referenced in the Greek (Textus Receptus, Scrivener 1894) text but were not explicitly tagged in the KJV source:

  • G3588 — ὁ (ho, ho): the definite article; the (sometimes to be supplied, at others omitted, in English idiom); the, this, that, one, he, she, it, etc
