Psalms 68:13

← Psalms 68:12 Psalms 68:13 (KJV) Psalms 68:14 →
Kings of armies did flee apace: and she that tarried at home divided the spoil.
Though ye have lien among the pots, yet shall ye be as the wings of a dove covered with silver, and her feathers with yellow gold.
When the Almighty scattered kings in it, it was white as snow in Salmon.

Strong's References
  • H84 — אֶבְרָה (ʼebrâh, eb-raw'): feminine of אֵבֶר (ʼêber) H83; a pinion; feather, wing.
  • H2645 — חָפָה (châphâh, khaw-faw'): a primitive root (compare חָפָא (châphâʼ) H2644, חׇפַף (chophaph) H2653); to cover; by implication, to veil, to encase, protect; ceil, cover, overlay.
  • H2742 — חֲרוּץ (chărûwts, khaw-roots'): or חָרֻץ (châruts); passive participle of חָרַץ (chârats) H2782; properly, incised or (active) incisive; hence (as noun masculine or feminine) a trench (as dug), gold (as mined), a threshing-sledge (having sharp teeth); (figuratively) determination; also eager; decision, diligent, (fine) gold, pointed things, sharp, threshing instrument, wall.
  • H3123 — יוֹנָה (yôwnâh, yo-naw'): probably from the same as יַיִן (yayin) H3196; a dove (apparently from the warmth of their mating); dove, pigeon.
  • H3422 — יְרַקְרַק (yᵉraqraq, yer-ak-rak'): from the same as יֶרֶק (yereq) H3418; yellowishness; greenish, yellow.
  • H3671 — כָּנָף (kânâph, kaw-nawf'): from כָּנַף (kânaph) H3670; an edge or extremity; specifically (of a bird or army) a wing, (of a garment or bedclothing) a flap, (of the earth) a quarter, (of a building) a pinnacle; [phrase] bird, border, corner, end, feather(-ed), [idiom] flying, [phrase] (one an-) other, overspreading, [idiom] quarters, skirt, [idiom] sort, uttermost part, wing(-ed).
  • H3701 — כֶּסֶף (keçeph, keh'-sef): from כָּסַף (kâçaph) H3700; silver (from its pale color); by implication, money; money, price, silver(-ling).
  • H7901 — שָׁכַב (shâkab, shaw-kab'): a primitive root; to lie down (for rest, sexual connection, decease or any other purpose); [idiom] at all, cast down, (lover-)lay (self) (down), (make to) lie (down, down to sleep, still with), lodge, ravish, take rest, sleep, stay.
  • H8240 — שָׁפָת (shâphâth, shaw-fawth'): from שָׁפַת (shâphath) H8239; a (double) stall (for cattle); also a (two-pronged) hook (for flaying animals on); hook, pot.

The following Strong's numbers are referenced in the Hebrew (Westminster Leningrad Codex) text but were not explicitly tagged in the KJV source:

  • H518 — אִם (ʼim, eem): a primitive particle; used very widely as demonstrative, lo!; interrogative, whether?; or conditional, if, although; also Oh that!, when; hence, as a negative, not; (and, can-, doubtless, if, that) (not), [phrase] but, either, [phrase] except, [phrase] more(-over if, than), neither, nevertheless, nor, oh that, or, [phrase] save (only, -ing), seeing, since, sith, [phrase] surely (no more, none, not), though, [phrase] of a truth, [phrase] unless, [phrase] verily, when, whereas, whether, while, [phrase] yet.
  • H996 — בֵּין (bêyn, bane): (sometimes in the plural masculine or feminine); properly, the constructive form of an otherwise unused noun from בִּין (bîyn) H995; a distinction; but used only as a preposition; between (repeated before each noun, often with other particles); also as a conjunction, either...or; among, asunder, at, between (-twixt...and), [phrase] from (the widest), [idiom] in, out of, whether (it be...or), within.
