Strong's References
  • H83 — אֵבֶר (ʼêber, ay-ber'): from אָבַר (ʼâbar) H82; a pinion; (long-) wing(-ed).
  • H559 — אָמַר (ʼâmar, aw-mar'): a primitive root; to say (used with great latitude); answer, appoint, avouch, bid, boast self, call, certify, challenge, charge, [phrase] (at the, give) command(-ment), commune, consider, declare, demand, [idiom] desire, determine, [idiom] expressly, [idiom] indeed, [idiom] intend, name, [idiom] plainly, promise, publish, report, require, say, speak (against, of), [idiom] still, [idiom] suppose, talk, tell, term, [idiom] that is, [idiom] think, use (speech), utter, [idiom] verily, [idiom] yet.
  • H3123 — יוֹנָה (yôwnâh, yo-naw'): probably from the same as יַיִן (yayin) H3196; a dove (apparently from the warmth of their mating); dove, pigeon.
  • H5414 — נָתַן (nâthan, naw-than'): a primitive root; to give, used with greatest latitude of application (put, make, etc.); add, apply, appoint, ascribe, assign, [idiom] avenge, [idiom] be (healed), bestow, bring (forth, hither), cast, cause, charge, come, commit, consider, count, [phrase] cry, deliver (up), direct, distribute, do, [idiom] doubtless, [idiom] without fail, fasten, frame, [idiom] get, give (forth, over, up), grant, hang (up), [idiom] have, [idiom] indeed, lay (unto charge, up), (give) leave, lend, let (out), [phrase] lie, lift up, make, [phrase] O that, occupy, offer, ordain, pay, perform, place, pour, print, [idiom] pull, put (forth), recompense, render, requite, restore, send (out), set (forth), shew, shoot forth (up), [phrase] sing, [phrase] slander, strike, (sub-) mit, suffer, [idiom] surely, [idiom] take, thrust, trade, turn, utter, [phrase] weep, [phrase] willingly, [phrase] withdraw, [phrase] would (to) God, yield.
  • H5774 — עוּף (ʻûwph, oof): a primitive root; to cover (with wings or obscurity); hence (as denominative from עוֹף (ʻôwph) H5775); to fly; also (by implication of dimness) to faint (from the darkness of swooning); brandish, be (wax) faint, flee away, fly (away), [idiom] set, shine forth, weary.
  • H7931 — שָׁכַן (shâkan, shaw-kan'): a primitive root (apparently akin (by transmission) to שָׁכַב (shâkab) H7901 through the idea of lodging; compare סִכְלוּת (çiklûwth) H5531, שָׁכַם (shâkam) H7925); to reside or permanently stay (literally or figuratively); abide, continue, (cause to, make to) dwell(-er), have habitation, inhabit, lay, place, (cause to) remain, rest, set (up).

The following Strong's numbers are referenced in the Hebrew (Westminster Leningrad Codex) text but were not explicitly tagged in the KJV source:

  • H4310 — מִי (mîy, me): an interrogative pronoun of persons, as מָה (mâh) H4100 is of things; who? (occasionally, by a peculiar idiom, of things); also (indefinitely) whoever; often used in oblique construction with prefix or suffix; any (man), [idiom] he, [idiom] him, [phrase] O that! what, which, who(-m, -se, -soever), [phrase] would to God.
