But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you,
Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.
And unto him that smiteth thee on the one cheek offer also the other; and him that taketh away thy cloke forbid not to take thy coat also.

Strong's References
  • G1908 — ἐπηρεάζω (epēreázō, ep-ay-reh-ad'-zo): from a comparative of ἐπί (epí) G1909 and (probably) ἀρειά (areiá) (threats); to insult, slander; use despitefully, falsely accuse
  • G2127 — εὐλογέω (eulogéō, yoo-log-eh'-o): from a compound of εὖ (eû) G2095 and λόγος (lógos) G3056; to speak well of, i.e. (religiously) to bless (thank or invoke a benediction upon, prosper); bless, praise
  • G2532 — καί (kaí, kahee): apparently, a primary particle, having a copulative and sometimes also a cumulative force; and, also, even, so then, too, etc.; often used in connection (or composition) with other particles or small words; and, also, both, but, even, for, if, or, so, that, then, therefore, when, yet
  • G2672 — καταράομαι (kataráomai, kat-ar-ah'-om-ahee): middle voice from κατάρα (katára) G2671; to execrate; by analogy, to doom; curse
  • G4336 — προσεύχομαι (proseúchomai, pros-yoo'-khom-ahee): from πρός (prós) G4314 and εὔχομαι (eúchomai) G2172; to pray to God, i.e. supplicate, worship; pray (X earnestly, for), make prayer
  • G5209 — ὑμᾶς (hymâs, hoo-mas'): accusative case of ὑμεῖς (hymeîs) G5210; you (as the objective of a verb or preposition); ye, you (+ -ward), your (+ own)
  • G5213 — ὑμῖν (hymîn, hoo-min'): irregular dative case of ὑμεῖς (hymeîs) G5210; to (with or by) you; ye, you, your(-selves)
  • G5228 — ὑπέρ (hypér, hoop-er'): a primary preposition; "over", i.e. (with the genitive case) of place, above, beyond, across, or causal, for the sake of, instead, regarding; with the accusative case superior to, more than; (+ exceeding, abundantly) above, in (on) behalf of, beyond, by, + very chiefest, concerning, exceeding (above, -ly), for, + very highly, more (than), of, over, on the part of, for sake of, in stead, than, to(-ward), very. In the comparative, it retains many of the above applications.

The following Strong's numbers are referenced in the Greek (Textus Receptus, Scrivener 1894) text but were not explicitly tagged in the KJV source:

  • G3588 — ὁ (ho, ho): the definite article; the (sometimes to be supplied, at others omitted, in English idiom); the, this, that, one, he, she, it, etc
