Strong's References
- H34 — אֶבְיוֹן (ʼebyôwn, eb-yone'): from אָבָה (ʼâbâh) H14, in the sense of want (especially in feeling); destitute; beggar, needy, poor (man).
- H309 — אָחַר (ʼâchar, aw-khar'): a primitive root; to loiter (i.e. be behind); by implication to procrastinate; continue, defer, delay, hinder, be late (slack), stay (there), tarry (longer).
- H430 — אֱלֹהִים (ʼĕlôhîym, el-o-heem'): plural of אֱלוֹהַּ (ʼĕlôwahh) H433; gods in the ordinary sense; but specifically used (in the plural thus, especially with the article) of the supreme God; occasionally applied by way of deference to magistrates; and sometimes as a superlative; angels, [idiom] exceeding, God (gods) (-dess, -ly), [idiom] (very) great, judges, [idiom] mighty.
- H2363 — חוּשׁ (chûwsh, koosh): a primitive root; to hurry; figuratively, to be eager with excitement or enjoyment; (make) haste(-n), ready.
- H3068 — יְהֹוָה (Yᵉhôvâh, yeh-ho-vaw'): from הָיָה (hâyâh) H1961; (the) self-Existent or Eternal; Jehovah, Jewish national name of God; Jehovah, the Lord. Compare יָהּ (Yâhh) H3050, יְהֹוִה (Yᵉhôvih) H3069.
- H5828 — עֵזֶר (ʻêzer, ay'-zer): from עָזַר (ʻâzar) H5826; aid; help.
- H6041 — עָנִי (ʻânîy, aw-nee'): from עָנָה (ʻânâh) H6031; (practically the same as עָנָו (ʻânâv) H6035, although the margin constantly disputes this, making עָנָו (ʻânâv) H6035 subjective and objective); depressed, in mind or circumstances; afflicted, humble, lowly, needy, poor.
- H6403 — פָּלַט (pâlaṭ, paw-lat'): a primitive root; to slip out, i.e. escape; causatively, to deliver; calve, carry away safe, deliver, (cause to) escape.
The following Strong's numbers are referenced in the Hebrew (Westminster Leningrad Codex) text but were not explicitly tagged in the KJV source:
- H408 — אַל (ʼal, al): a negative particle (akin to לֹא (lôʼ) H3808); not (the qualified negation, used as a deprecative); once (Job 24:25) as a noun, nothing; nay, neither, [phrase] never, no, nor, not, nothing (worth), rather than.
- H589 — אֲנִי (ʼănîy, an-ee'): contracted from אָנֹכִי (ʼânôkîy) H595; I; I, (as for) me, mine, myself, we, [idiom] which, [idiom] who.
- H859 — אַתָּה (ʼattâh, at-taw'): or (shortened); אַתָּ (ʼattâ); or אַת (ʼath); feminine (irregular) sometimes אַתִּי (ʼattîy); plural masculine אַתֶּם (ʼattem); feminine אַתֶּן (ʼatten); or אַתֵּנָה (ʼattênâh); or אַתֵּנָּה (ʼattênnâh); a primitive pronoun of the second person; thou and thee, or (plural) ye and you; thee, thou, ye, you.
