Strong's References
  • H157 — אָהַב (ʼâhab, aw-hab'): or אָהֵב (ʼâhêb) ; a primitive root; to have affection for (sexually or otherwise); (be-) love(-d, -ly, -r), like, friend.
  • H977 — בָּחַר (bâchar, baw-khar'): a primitive root; properly, to try, i.e. (by implication) select; acceptable, appoint, choose (choice), excellent, join, be rather, require.
  • H1347 — גָּאוֹן (gâʼôwn, gaw-ohn'): from גָּאָה (gâʼâh) H1342; the same as גַּאֲוָה (gaʼăvâh) H1346; arrogance or majesty; by implication, (concretely) ornament; arrogancy, excellency(-lent), majesty, pomp, pride, proud, swelling.
  • H3290 — יַעֲקֹב (Yaʻăqôb, yah-ak-obe'): from עָקַב (ʻâqab) H6117; heel-catcher (i.e. supplanter); Jaakob, the Israelitish patriarch; Jacob.
  • H5159 — נַחֲלָה (nachălâh, nakh-al-aw'): from נָחַל (nâchal) H5157 (in its usual sense); properly, something inherited, i.e. (abstractly) occupancy, or (concretely) an heirloom; generally an estate, patrimony or portion; heritage, to inherit, inheritance, possession. Compare נַחַל (nachal) H5158.
  • H5542 — סֶלָה (çelâh, seh'-law): from סָלָה (çâlâh) H5541; suspension (of music), i.e. pause; Selah.

The following Strong's numbers are referenced in the Hebrew (Westminster Leningrad Codex) text but were not explicitly tagged in the KJV source:

  • H834 — אֲשֶׁר (ʼăsher, ash-er'): a primitive relative pronoun (of every gender and number); who, which, what, that; also (as an adverb and a conjunction) when, where, how, because, in order that, etc.; [idiom] after, [idiom] alike, as (soon as), because, [idiom] every, for, [phrase] forasmuch, [phrase] from whence, [phrase] how(-soever), [idiom] if, (so) that ((thing) which, wherein), [idiom] though, [phrase] until, [phrase] whatsoever, when, where ([phrase] -as, -in, -of, -on, -soever, -with), which, whilst, [phrase] whither(-soever), who(-m, -soever, -se). As it is indeclinable, it is often accompanied by the personal pronoun expletively, used to show the connection.
  • H853 — אֵת (ʼêth, ayth): apparent contracted from אוֹת (ʼôwth) H226 in the demonstrative sense of entity; properly, self (but generally used to point out more definitely the object of a verb or preposition, even or namely); (as such unrepresented in English).
