Often used in composition, with the same general import; often of completion.
  • G2007 — ἐπιτίθημι (epitíthēmi, ep-ee-tith'-ay-mee): from ἐπί (epí) G1909 and τίθημι (títhēmi) G5087; to impose (in a friendly or hostile sense); add unto, lade, lay upon, put (up) on, set on (up), + surname, X wound

  • G2532 — καί (kaí, kahee): apparently, a primary particle, having a copulative and sometimes also a cumulative force; and, also, even, so then, too, etc.; often used in connection (or composition) with other particles or small words; and, also, both, but, even, for, if, or, so, that, then, therefore, when, yet
  • G2776 — κεφαλή (kephalḗ, kef-al-ay'): from the primary κάπτω (káptō) (in the sense of seizing); the head (as the part most readily taken hold of), literally or figuratively; head
  • G4016 — περιβάλλω (peribállō, per-ee-bal'-lo): from περί (perí) G4012 and βάλλω (bállō) G906; to throw all around, i.e. invest (with a palisade or with clothing); array, cast about, clothe(-d me), put on

  • G4735 — στέφανος (stéphanos, stef'-an-os): from an apparently primary στέφω (stéphō) (to twine or wreathe); a chaplet (as a badge of royalty, a prize in the public games or a symbol of honor generally; but more conspicuous and elaborate than the simple fillet, διάδημα (diádēma) G1238), literally or figuratively; crown
  • G4757 — στρατιώτης (stratiṓtēs, strat-ee-o'-tace): from a presumed derivative of the same as στρατιά (stratiá) G4756; a camper-out, i.e. a (common) warrior (literally or figuratively); soldier

The following Strong's numbers are referenced in the Greek (Textus Receptus, Scrivener 1894) text but were not explicitly tagged in the KJV source:
