But I have understanding as well as you; I am not inferior to you: yea, who knoweth not such things as these?

I am as one mocked of his neighbour, who calleth upon God, and he answereth him: the just upright man is laughed to scorn.

Strong's References
- H433 — אֱלוֹהַּ (ʼĕlôwahh, el-o'-ah): rarely (shortened) אֱלֹהַּ (ʼĕlôahh); probably prolonged (emphatic) from אֵל (ʼêl) H410; a deity or the Deity; God, god. See אֱלֹהִים (ʼĕlôhîym) H430.
- H6030 — עָנָה (ʻânâh, aw-naw'): a primitive root; properly, to eye or (generally) to heed, i.e. pay attention; by implication, to respond; by extension to begin to speak; specifically to sing, shout, testify, announce; give account, afflict (by mistake for עָנָה (ʻânâh) H6031), (cause to, give) answer, bring low (by mistake for עָנָה (ʻânâh) H6031), cry, hear, Leannoth, lift up, say, [idiom] scholar, (give a) shout, sing (together by course), speak, testify, utter, (bear) witness. See also בֵּית עֲנוֹת (Bêyth ʻĂnôwth) H1042, בֵּית עֲנָת (Bêyth ʻĂnâth) H1043.
- H6662 — צַדִּיק (tsaddîyq, tsad-deek'): from צָדַק (tsâdaq) H6663; just; just, lawful, righteous (man).
- H7121 — קָרָא (qârâʼ, kaw-raw'): a primitive root (rather identical with קָרָא (qârâʼ) H7122 through the idea of accosting a person met); to call out to (i.e. properly, address by name, but used in a wide variety of applications); bewray (self), that are bidden, call (for, forth, self, upon), cry (unto), (be) famous, guest, invite, mention, (give) name, preach, (make) proclaim(-ation), pronounce, publish, read, renowned, say.
- H7453 — רֵעַ (rêaʻ, ray'-ah): or רֵיעַ (rêyaʻ); from רָעָה (râʻâh) H7462; an associate (more or less close); brother, companion, fellow, friend, husband, lover, neighbour, [idiom] (an-) other.
- H7814 — שְׂחוֹק (sᵉchôwq, sekh-oke'): or שְׂחֹק (sᵉchôq); from שָׂחַק (sâchaq) H7832; laughter (in merriment or defiance); derision, laughter(-ed to scorn, -ing), mocked, sport.
- H8549 — תָּמִים (tâmîym, taw-meem'): from תָּמַם (tâmam) H8552; entire (literally, figuratively or morally); also (as noun) integrity, truth; without blemish, complete, full, perfect, sincerely (-ity), sound, without spot, undefiled, upright(-ly), whole.
The following Strong's numbers are referenced in the Hebrew (Westminster Leningrad Codex) text but were not explicitly tagged in the KJV source:
- H1961 — הָיָה (hâyâh, haw-yaw): a primitive root (compare הָוָא (hâvâʼ) H1933); to exist, i.e. be or become, come to pass (always emphatic, and not a mere copula or auxiliary); beacon, [idiom] altogether, be(-come), accomplished, committed, like), break, cause, come (to pass), do, faint, fall, [phrase] follow, happen, [idiom] have, last, pertain, quit (one-) self, require, [idiom] use.
