Strong's References
  • H6 — אָבַד (ʼâbad, aw-bad'): a primitive root; properly, to wander away, i.e. lose oneself; by implication to perish (causative, destroy); break, destroy(-uction), [phrase] not escape, fail, lose, (cause to, make) perish, spend, [idiom] and surely, take, be undone, [idiom] utterly, be void of, have no way to flee.
  • H34 — אֶבְיוֹן (ʼebyôwn, eb-yone'): from אָבָה (ʼâbâh) H14, in the sense of want (especially in feeling); destitute; beggar, needy, poor (man).
  • H5331 — נֶצַח (netsach, neh'-tsakh): or נֵצַח (nêtsach); from נָצַח (nâtsach) H5329; properly, a goal, i.e. the bright object at adistance travelled towards; hence (figuratively), splendor, or (subjectively) truthfulness, or (objectively) confidence; but usually (adverbially), continually (i.e. to the most distant point of view); alway(-s), constantly, end, ([phrase] n-) ever(more), perpetual, strength, victory.
  • H5703 — עַד (ʻad, ad): from עָדָה (ʻâdâh) H5710; properly, a (peremptory) terminus, i.e. (by implication) duration, in the sense of advance or perpetuity (substantially as a noun, either with or without a preposition); eternity, ever(-lasting, -more), old, perpetually, [phrase] world without end.
  • H6035 — עָנָו (ʻânâv, aw-nawv'): or (by intermixture with עָנִי (ʻânîy) H6041) עָנָיו (ʻânâyv); from עָנָה (ʻânâh) H6031; depressed (figuratively), in mind (gentle) or circumstances (needy, especially saintly); humble, lowly, meek, poor. Compare עָנִי (ʻânîy) H6041.
  • H6041 — עָנִי (ʻânîy, aw-nee'): from עָנָה (ʻânâh) H6031; (practically the same as עָנָו (ʻânâv) H6035, although the margin constantly disputes this, making עָנָו (ʻânâv) H6035 subjective and objective); depressed, in mind or circumstances; afflicted, humble, lowly, needy, poor.
  • H7911 — שָׁכַח (shâkach, shaw-kakh'): or שָׁכֵחַ (shâkêach); a primitive root; to mislay, i.e. to be oblivious of, from want of memory or attention; [idiom] at all, (cause to) forget.
  • H8615 — תִּקְוָה (tiqvâh, tik-vaw'): from קָוָה (qâvâh) H6960; (compare קָוֶה (qâveh) H6961); literally a cord (as an attachment); figuratively, expectancy; expectation(-ted), hope, live, thing that I long for.

The following Strong's numbers are referenced in the Hebrew (Westminster Leningrad Codex) text but were not explicitly tagged in the KJV source:

  • H3588 — כִּי (kîy, kee): a primitive particle (the full form of the prepositional prefix) indicating causal relations of all kinds, antecedent or consequent; (by implication) very widely used as a relative conjunction or adverb (as below); often largely modified by other particles annexed; and, + (forasmuch, inasmuch, where-) as, assured(-ly), + but, certainly, doubtless, + else, even, + except, for, how, (because, in, so, than) that, + nevertheless, now, rightly, seeing, since, surely, then, therefore, + (al-) though, + till, truly, + until, when, whether, while, whom, yea, yet.
  • H3808 — לֹא (lôʼ, lo): or לוֹא (lôwʼ); or לֹה (lôh); (Deuteronomy 3:11), a primitive particle; not (the simple or abs. negation); by implication, no; often used with other particles; [idiom] before, [phrase] or else, ere, [phrase] except, ig(-norant), much, less, nay, neither, never, no((-ne), -r, (-thing)), ([idiom] as though...,(can-), for) not (out of), of nought, otherwise, out of, [phrase] surely, [phrase] as truly as, [phrase] of a truth, [phrase] verily, for want, [phrase] whether, without.
