John 10:32

← John 10:31 John 10:32 (KJV) [words of Jesus] John 10:33 →
Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.
Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?
The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.

In composition it retains the same general importance.

  • G2570 — καλός (kalós, kal-os'): of uncertain affinity; properly, beautiful, but chiefly (figuratively) good (literally or morally), i.e. valuable or virtuous (for appearance or use, and thus distinguished from ἀγαθός (agathós) G18, which is properly intrinsic); X better, fair, good(-ly), honest, meet, well, worthy

  • G4169 — ποῖος (poîos, poy'-os): from the base of ποῦ (poû) G4226 and οἷος (hoîos) G3634; individualizing interrogative (of character) what sort of, or (of number) which one; what (manner of), which
