|---|---|---|
And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
|
Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
|
I say again, Let no man think me a fool; if otherwise, yet as a fool receive me, that I may boast myself a little.

Strong's References
- G846 — αὐτός (autós, ow-tos'): from the particle αὖ (aû) (perhaps akin to the base of ἀήρ (aḗr) G109 through the idea of a baffling wind) (backward); the reflexive pronoun self, used (alone or in the comparative ἑαυτοῦ (heautoû) G1438) of the third person , and (with the proper personal pronoun) of the other persons; her, it(-self), one, the other, (mine) own, said, (self-), the) same, ((him-, my-, thy- )self, (your-)selves, she, that, their(-s), them(-selves), there(-at, - by, -in, -into, -of, -on, -with), they, (these) things, this (man), those, together, very, which. Compare αὑτοῦ (hautoû) G848.
- G1249 — διάκονος (diákonos, dee-ak'-on-os): probably from an obsolete διάκω (diákō) (to run on errands; compare διώκω (diṓkō) G1377); an attendant, i.e. (genitive case) a waiter (at table or in other menial duties); specially, a Christian teacher and pastor (technically, a deacon or deaconess); deacon, minister, servant
- G1343 — δικαιοσύνη (dikaiosýnē, dik-ah-yos-oo'-nay): from δίκαιος (díkaios) G1342; equity (of character or act); specially (Christian) justification; righteousness
- G1499 — εἰ καί (ei kaí, i kahee): from εἰ (ei) G1487 and καί (kaí) G2532; if also (or even); if (that), though
- G2041 — ἔργον (érgon, er'-gon): from a primary (but obsolete) ἔργω (érgō) (to work); toil (as an effort or occupation); by implication, an act; deed, doing, labour, work
- G2071 — ἔσομαι (ésomai, es'-om-ahee): future of εἰμί (eimí) G1510; will be; shall (should) be (have), (shall) come (to pass), X may have, X fall, what would follow, X live long, X sojourn
- G2596 — κατά (katá, kat-ah'): a primary particle; (prepositionally) down (in place or time), in varied relations (according to the case (genitive, dative or accusative) with which it is joined); about, according as (to), after, against, (when they were) X alone, among, and, X apart, (even, like) as (concerning, pertaining to touching), X aside, at, before, beyond, by, to the charge of, (charita-)bly, concerning, + covered, (dai-)ly, down, every, (+ far more) exceeding, X more excellent, for, from … to, godly, in(-asmuch, divers, every, -to, respect of), … by, after the manner of, + by any means, beyond (out of) measure, X mightily, more, X natural, of (up-)on (X part), out (of every), over against, (+ your) X own, + particularly, so, through(-oughout, -oughout every), thus, (un-)to(-gether, -ward), X uttermost, where(-by), with. In composition it retains many of these applications, and frequently denotes opposition, distribution, or intensity.
- G3173 — μέγας (mégas, meg'-as): (including the prolonged forms, feminine μεγάλη (megálē), plural μεγάλοι (megáloi), etc.; compare also μέγιστος (mégistos) G3176, μείζων (meízōn) G3187); big (literally or figuratively, in a very wide application); (+ fear) exceedingly, great(-est), high, large, loud, mighty, + (be) sore (afraid), strong, X to years
- G3345 — μετασχηματίζω (metaschēmatízō, met-askh-ay-mat-id'-zo): from μετά (metá) G3326 and a derivative of σχῆμα (schēma) G4976; to transfigure or disguise; figuratively, to apply (by accommodation); transfer, transform (self)
- G3739 — ὅς (hós, hos): probably a primary word (or perhaps a form of the article ὁ (ho) G3588); the relatively (sometimes demonstrative) pronoun, who, which, what, that; one, (an-, the) other, some, that, what, which, who(-m, -se), etc. See also οὗ (hoû) G3757.
- G3756 — οὐ (ou, oo): a primary word; the absolute negative (compare μή (mḗ) G3361) adverb; no or not; + long, nay, neither, never, no (X man), none, (can-)not, + nothing, + special, un(-worthy), when, + without, + yet but. See also οὐ μή (ou mḗ) G3364, μῆκος (mēkos) G3372.

- G5056 — τέλος (télos, tel'-os): from a primary τέλλω (téllō) (to set out for a definite point or goal); properly, the point aimed at as a limit, i.e. (by implication) the conclusion of an act or state (termination (literally, figuratively or indefinitely), result (immediate, ultimate or prophetic), purpose); specially, an impost or levy (as paid); + continual, custom, end(-ing), finally, uttermost. Compare φόρος (phóros) G5411.
- G5613 — ὡς (hōs, hoce): probably adverb of comparative from ὅς (hós) G3739; which how, i.e. in that manner (very variously used, as follows); about, after (that), (according) as (it had been, it were), as soon (as), even as (like), for, how (greatly), like (as, unto), since, so (that), that, to wit, unto, when(-soever), while, X with all speed
