مَدِينَةٌ مِنْ سِبْطِ دَانَ أَوْ، عَلَى الأَرْجَحِ، مِنْ سِبْطِ يَهُوذَا (A city of the tribe of Dan or possibly the tribe of Judah)

مَدِينَةُ شَمْشُونَ (The city of Samson)

رِجَالٌ مِنْ سِبْطِ دَانَ أُرْسِلُوا مِنْهَا لِتَجَسُّسِ الأَرْضِ بِقَصْدِ امْتِلَاكِهَا (Representatives of the tribe of Dan sent from, to spy out the land with a view to its conquest)
