Luke 9:32
| ← Luke 9:31 | Luke 9:32 (KJV) | Luke 9:33 → |
|---|---|---|
Who appeared in glory, and spake of his decease which he should accomplish at Jerusalem.
|
But Peter and they that were with him were heavy with sleep: and when they were awake, they saw his glory, and the two men that stood with him.
|
And it came to pass, as they departed from him, Peter said unto Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here: and let us make three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias: not knowing what he said.

- G1417 — δύο (dýo, doo'-o): a primary numeral; "two"; both, twain, two
- G1492 — εἴδω (eídō, i'-do): a primary verb; used only in certain past tenses, the others being borrowed from the equivalent ὀπτάνομαι (optánomai) G3700 and ὁράω (horáō) G3708; properly, to see (literally or figuratively); by implication, (in the perfect tense only) to know; be aware, behold, X can (+ not tell), consider, (have) know(-ledge), look (on), perceive, see, be sure, tell, understand, wish, wot. Compare ὀπτάνομαι (optánomai) G3700.

In composition it has similar applications, including completeness.
- G4921 — συνιστάω (synistáō, soon-is-tah'-o): from σύν (sýn) G4862 and ἵστημι (hístēmi) G2476 (including its collateral forms); to set together, i.e. (by implication) to introduce (favorably), or (figuratively) to exhibit; intransitively, to stand near, or (figuratively) to constitute; approve, commend, consist, make, stand (with)
