Luke 10:14
| ← Luke 10:13 [words of Jesus] | Luke 10:14 (KJV) [words of Jesus] | Luke 10:15 [words of Jesus] → |
|---|---|---|
Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works had been done in Tyre and Sidon, which have been done in you, they had a great while ago repented, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.
|
But it shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment, than for you.
|
And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted to heaven, shalt be thrust down to hell.

Often used in connection with other particles. Compare especially ἤδη (ḗdē) G2235, ἤπερ (ḗper) G2260, ἤτοι (ḗtoi) G2273.
- G2532 — καί (kaí, kahee): apparently, a primary particle, having a copulative and sometimes also a cumulative force; and, also, even, so then, too, etc.; often used in connection (or composition) with other particles or small words; and, also, both, but, even, for, if, or, so, that, then, therefore, when, yet
- G2920 — κρίσις (krísis, kree'-sis): decision (subjectively or objectively, for or against); by extension, a tribunal; by implication, justice (especially, divine law); accusation, condemnation, damnation, judgment
