Strong's References
  • H1 — אָב (ʼâb, awb): a primitive word; father, in a literal and immediate, or figurative and remote application; chief, (fore-) father(-less), [idiom] patrimony, principal. Compare names in 'Abi-'.
  • H589 — אֲנִי (ʼănîy, an-ee'): contracted from אָנֹכִי (ʼânôkîy) H595; I; I, (as for) me, mine, myself, we, [idiom] which, [idiom] who.
  • H1285 — בְּרִית (bᵉrîyth, ber-eeth'): from בָּרָה (bârâh) H1262 (in the sense of cutting (like בָּרָא (bârâʼ) H1254)); a compact (because made by passing between pieces of flesh); confederacy, (con-) feder(-ate), covenant, league.
  • H1471 — גּוֹי (gôwy, go'-ee): rarely (shortened) גֹּי (gôy); apparently from the same root as גֵּוָה (gêvâh) H1465 (in the sense of massing); a foreign nation; hence, a Gentile; also (figuratively) a troop of animals, or a flight of locusts; Gentile, heathen, nation, people.
  • H1995 — הָמוֹן (hâmôwn, haw-mone'): or הָמֹן (hâmôn); (Ezekiel 5:7), from הָמָה (hâmâh) H1993; a noise, tumult, crowd; also disquietude, wealth; abundance, company, many, multitude, multiply, noise, riches, rumbling, sounding, store, tumult.

The following Strong's numbers are referenced in the Hebrew (Westminster Leningrad Codex) text but were not explicitly tagged in the KJV source:

  • H854 — אֵת (ʼêth, ayth): probably from אָנָה (ʼânâh) H579; properly, nearness (used only as a preposition or an adverb), near; hence, generally, with, by, at, among, etc.; against, among, before, by, for, from, in(-to), (out) of, with. Often with another prepositional prefix.
  • H1961 — הָיָה (hâyâh, haw-yaw): a primitive root (compare הָוָא (hâvâʼ) H1933); to exist, i.e. be or become, come to pass (always emphatic, and not a mere copula or auxiliary); beacon, [idiom] altogether, be(-come), accomplished, committed, like), break, cause, come (to pass), do, faint, fall, [phrase] follow, happen, [idiom] have, last, pertain, quit (one-) self, require, [idiom] use.
  • H2009 — הִנֵּה (hinnêh, hin-nay'): prolongation for הֵן (hên) H2005; lo!; behold, lo, see.
