Strong's References
  • G1500 — εἰκῆ (eikē, i-kay'): probably from εἴκω (eíkō) G1502 (through the idea of failure); idly, i.e. without reason (or effect); without a cause, (in) vain(-ly)
  • G1519 — εἰς (eis, ice): a primary preposition; to or into (indicating the point reached or entered), of place, time, or (figuratively) purpose (result, etc.); also in adverbial phrases; (abundant-)ly, against, among, as, at, (back-)ward, before, by, concerning, + continual, + far more exceeding, for (intent, purpose), fore, + forth, in (among, at, unto, -so much that, -to), to the intent that, + of one mind, + never, of, (up-)on, + perish, + set at one again, (so) that, therefore(-unto), throughout, til, to (be, the end, -ward), (here-)until(-to), …ward, (where-)fore, with. Often used in composition with the same general import, but only with verbs (etc.) expressing motion (literally or figuratively).
  • G2872 — κοπιάω (kopiáō, kop-ee-ah'-o): from a derivative of κόπος (kópos) G2873; to feel fatigue; by implication, to work hard; (bestow) labour, toil, be wearied
  • G3381 — μήπως (mḗpōs, may'-pos): from μή (mḗ) G3361 and -πώς (-pṓs) G4458; lest somehow; lest (by any means, by some means, haply, perhaps)
  • G4458 — -πώς (-pṓs, poce): adverb from the base of πού (poú) G4225; an enclitic particle of indefiniteness of manner; somehow or anyhow; used only in composition; haply, by any (some) means, perhaps. See εἴ πως (eí pōs) G1513, μήπως (mḗpōs) G3381. Compare πῶς (pōs) G4459.
  • G5209 — ὑμᾶς (hymâs, hoo-mas'): accusative case of ὑμεῖς (hymeîs) G5210; you (as the objective of a verb or preposition); ye, you (+ -ward), your (+ own)
  • G5399 — φοβέω (phobéō, fob-eh'-o): from φόβος (phóbos) G5401; to frighten, i.e. (passively) to be alarmed; by analogy, to be in awe of, i.e. revere; be (+ sore) afraid, fear (exceedingly), reverence

The following Strong's numbers are referenced in the Greek (Textus Receptus, Scrivener 1894) text but were not explicitly tagged in the KJV source:

  • G3361 — μή (mḗ, may): a primary particle of qualified negation (whereas οὐ (ou) G3756 expresses an absolute denial); (adverb) not, (conjunction) lest; also (as an interrogative implying a negative answer (whereas οὐ (ou) G3756 expects an affirmative one)) whether; any but (that), X forbear, + God forbid, + lack, lest, neither, never, no (X wise in), none, nor, (can-)not, nothing, that not, un(-taken), without. Often used in compounds in substantially the same relations. See also ἐὰν μή (eàn mḗ) G3362, ἵνα μή (hína mḗ) G3363, οὐ μή (ou mḗ) G3364, μῆκος (mēkos) G3372, μηκύνω (mēkýnō) G3373, μήν (mḗn) G3375, μὴ οὐκ (mḕ ouk) G3378.
