For some are already turned aside after Satan.
|
If any man or woman that believeth have widows, let them relieve them, and let not the church be charged; that it may relieve them that are widows indeed.
|
Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine.

Strong's References
- G846 — αὐτός (autós, ow-tos'): from the particle αὖ (aû) (perhaps akin to the base of ἀήρ (aḗr) G109 through the idea of a baffling wind) (backward); the reflexive pronoun self, used (alone or in the comparative ἑαυτοῦ (heautoû) G1438) of the third person , and (with the proper personal pronoun) of the other persons; her, it(-self), one, the other, (mine) own, said, (self-), the) same, ((him-, my-, thy- )self, (your-)selves, she, that, their(-s), them(-selves), there(-at, - by, -in, -into, -of, -on, -with), they, (these) things, this (man), those, together, very, which. Compare αὑτοῦ (hautoû) G848.

Often used in connection with other particles. Compare especially ἤδη (ḗdē) G2235, ἤπερ (ḗper) G2260, ἤτοι (ḗtoi) G2273.
- G2443 — ἵνα (hína, hin'-ah): probably from the same as the former part of ἑαυτοῦ (heautoû) G1438 (through the demonstrative idea; compare ὁ (ho) G3588); in order that (denoting the purpose or the result); albeit, because, to the intent (that), lest, so as, (so) that, (for) to. Compare ἵνα μή (hína mḗ) G3363.
- G2532 — καί (kaí, kahee): apparently, a primary particle, having a copulative and sometimes also a cumulative force; and, also, even, so then, too, etc.; often used in connection (or composition) with other particles or small words; and, also, both, but, even, for, if, or, so, that, then, therefore, when, yet
- G3361 — μή (mḗ, may): a primary particle of qualified negation (whereas οὐ (ou) G3756 expresses an absolute denial); (adverb) not, (conjunction) lest; also (as an interrogative implying a negative answer (whereas οὐ (ou) G3756 expects an affirmative one)) whether; any but (that), X forbear, + God forbid, + lack, lest, neither, never, no (X wise in), none, nor, (can-)not, nothing, that not, un(-taken), without. Often used in compounds in substantially the same relations. - G5503 — χήρα (chḗra, khay'-rah): feminine of a presumed derivative apparently from the base of χάσμα (chásma) G5490 through the idea of deficiency; a widow (as lacking a husband), literally or figuratively; widow
