Strong's References
- G106 — ἄζυμος (ázymos, ad'-zoo-mos): from Α (A) G1 (as a negative particle) and ζύμη (zýmē) G2219; unleavened, i.e. (figuratively) uncorrupted; (in the neutral plural) specially (by implication) the Passover week; unleavened (bread)
- G1161 — δέ (dé, deh): a primary particle (adversative or continuative); but, and, etc.; also, and, but, moreover, now (often unexpressed in English)
- G1448 — ἐγγίζω (engízō, eng-id'-zo): from ἐγγύς (engýs) G1451; to make near, i.e. (reflexively) approach; approach, be at hand, come (draw) near, be (come, draw) nigh
- G1859 — ἑορτή (heortḗ, heh-or-tay'): of uncertain affinity; a festival; feast, holyday
- G3004 — λέγω (légō, leg'-o): a primary verb; properly, to "lay" forth, i.e. (figuratively) relate (in words (usually of systematic or set discourse; whereas ἔπω (épō) G2036 and φημί (phēmí) G5346 generally refer to an individual expression or speech respectively; while ῥέω (rhéō) G4483 is properly to break silence merely, and λαλέω (laléō) G2980 means an extended or random harangue)); by implication, to mean; ask, bid, boast, call, describe, give out, name, put forth, say(-ing, on), shew, speak, tell, utter
- G3957 — πάσχα (páscha, pas'-khah): of Chaldee origin (compare H6453); the Passover (the meal, the day, the festival or the special sacrifices connected with it); Easter, Passover
The following Strong's numbers are referenced in the Greek (Textus Receptus, Scrivener 1894) text but were not explicitly tagged in the KJV source:
- G3588 — ὁ (ho, ho): the definite article; the (sometimes to be supplied, at others omitted, in English idiom); the, this, that, one, he, she, it, etc
