Strong's References
  • G142 — αἴρω (aírō, ah'-ee-ro): a primary root; to lift up; by implication, to take up or away; figuratively, to raise (the voice), keep in suspense (the mind), specially, to sail away (i.e. weigh anchor); by Hebraism (compare H5375) to expiate sin; away with, bear (up), carry, lift up, loose, make to doubt, put away, remove, take (away, up)
  • G846 — αὐτός (autós, ow-tos'): from the particle αὖ (aû) (perhaps akin to the base of ἀήρ (aḗr) G109 through the idea of a baffling wind) (backward); the reflexive pronoun self, used (alone or in the comparative ἑαυτοῦ (heautoû) G1438) of the third person , and (with the proper personal pronoun) of the other persons; her, it(-self), one, the other, (mine) own, said, (self-), the) same, ((him-, my-, thy- )self, (your-)selves, she, that, their(-s), them(-selves), there(-at, - by, -in, -into, -of, -on, -with), they, (these) things, this (man), those, together, very, which. Compare αὑτοῦ (hautoû) G848.
  • G1653 — ἐλεέω (eleéō, el-eh-eh'-o): from ἔλεος (éleos) G1656; to compassionate (by word or deed, specially, by divine grace); have compassion (pity on), have (obtain, receive, shew) mercy (on)
  • G1988 — ἐπιστάτης (epistátēs, ep-is-tat'-ace): from ἐπί (epí) G1909 and a presumed derivative of ἵστημι (hístēmi) G2476; an appointee over, i.e. commander (teacher); master
  • G2248 — ἡμᾶς (hēmâs, hay-mas'): accusative case plural of ἐγώ (egṓ) G1473; us; our, us, we
  • G2424 — Ἰησοῦς (Iēsoûs, ee-ay-sooce'): of Hebrew origin (H3091); Jesus (i.e. Jehoshua), the name of our Lord and two (three) other Israelites; Jesus
  • G2532 — καί (kaí, kahee): apparently, a primary particle, having a copulative and sometimes also a cumulative force; and, also, even, so then, too, etc.; often used in connection (or composition) with other particles or small words; and, also, both, but, even, for, if, or, so, that, then, therefore, when, yet
  • G3004 — λέγω (légō, leg'-o): a primary verb; properly, to "lay" forth, i.e. (figuratively) relate (in words (usually of systematic or set discourse; whereas ἔπω (épō) G2036 and φημί (phēmí) G5346 generally refer to an individual expression or speech respectively; while ῥέω (rhéō) G4483 is properly to break silence merely, and λαλέω (laléō) G2980 means an extended or random harangue)); by implication, to mean; ask, bid, boast, call, describe, give out, name, put forth, say(-ing, on), shew, speak, tell, utter
  • G5456 — φωνή (phōnḗ, fo-nay'): probably akin to φαίνω (phaínō) G5316 through the idea of disclosure; a tone (articulate, bestial or artificial); by implication, an address (for any purpose), saying or language; noise, sound, voice
