  • H3478 — יִשְׂרָאֵל (Yisrâʼêl, yis-raw-ale'): from שָׂרָה (sârâh) H8280 and אֵל (ʼêl) H410; he will rule as God; Jisrael, a symbolical name of Jacob; also (typically) of his posterity; Israel.
  • H4294 — מַטֶּה (maṭṭeh, mat-teh'): or (feminine) מַטָּה (maṭṭâh); from נָטָה (nâṭâh) H5186; a branch (as extending); figuratively, a tribe; also a rod, whether for chastising (figuratively, correction), ruling (a sceptre), throwing (a lance), or walking (a staff; figuratively, a support of life, e.g. bread); rod, staff, tribe.
  • H5387 — נָשִׂיא (nâsîyʼ, naw-see'): or נָשִׂא (nâsiʼ); from נָשָׂא (nâsâʼ) H5375; properly, an exalted one, i.e. a king or sheik; also a rising mist; captain, chief, cloud, governor, prince, ruler, vapour.
  • H5712 — עֵדָה (ʻêdâh, ay-daw'): feminine of עֵד (ʻêd) H5707 in the original sense of fixture; a stated assemblage (specifically, a concourse, or generally, a family or crowd); assembly, company, congregation, multitude, people, swarm. Compare עֵדָה (ʻêdâh) H5713.
  • H7121 — קָרָא (qârâʼ, kaw-raw'): a primitive root (rather identical with קָרָא (qârâʼ) H7122 through the idea of accosting a person met); to call out to (i.e. properly, address by name, but used in a wide variety of applications); bewray (self), that are bidden, call (for, forth, self, upon), cry (unto), (be) famous, guest, invite, mention, (give) name, preach, (make) proclaim(-ation), pronounce, publish, read, renowned, say.
  • H7148 — קָרִיא (qârîyʼ, kaw-ree'): from קָרָא (qârâʼ) H7121; called, i.e. select; famous, renowned.
  • H7218 — רֹאשׁ (rôʼsh, roshe): from an unused root apparently meaning to shake; the head (as most easily shaken), whether literal or figurative (in many applications, of place, time, rank, itc.); band, beginning, captain, chapiter, chief(-est place, man, things), company, end, [idiom] every (man), excellent, first, forefront, (be-)head, height, (on) high(-est part, (priest)), [idiom] lead, [idiom] poor, principal, ruler, sum, top.

The following Strong's numbers are referenced in the Hebrew (Westminster Leningrad Codex) text but were not explicitly tagged in the KJV source:

  • H428 — אֵלֶּה (ʼêl-leh, ale'-leh): prolonged from אֵל (ʼêl) H411; these or those; an-(the) other; one sort, so, some, such, them, these (same), they, this, those, thus, which, who(-m).
