|---|---|---|
Then Jesus answering said unto them, Go your way, and tell John what things ye have seen and heard; how that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached.
|
And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.
|
And when the messengers of John were departed, he began to speak unto the people concerning John, What went ye out into the wilderness for to see? A reed shaken with the wind?

- G3107 — μακάριος (makários, mak-ar'-ee-os): a prolonged form of the poetical μάκαρ (mákar) (meaning the same); supremely blest; by extension, fortunate, well off; blessed, happy(X -ier)
- G3362 — ἐὰν μή (eàn mḗ, eh-an' may): i.e. ἐάν (eán) G1437 and μή (mḗ) G3361; if not, i.e. unless; X before, but, except, if, no, (if, + whosoever) not
- G3739 — ὅς (hós, hos): probably a primary word (or perhaps a form of the article ὁ (ho) G3588); the relatively (sometimes demonstrative) pronoun, who, which, what, that; one, (an-, the) other, some, that, what, which, who(-m, -se), etc. See also οὗ (hoû) G3757.
- G4624 — σκανδαλίζω (skandalízō, skan-dal-id'-zo): from σκάνδαλον (skándalon) G4625; to entrap, i.e. trip up (figuratively, stumble (transitively) or entice to sin, apostasy or displeasure); (make to) offend

See μή (mḗ) G3361.
- G3361 — μή (mḗ, may): a primary particle of qualified negation (whereas οὐ (ou) G3756 expresses an absolute denial); (adverb) not, (conjunction) lest; also (as an interrogative implying a negative answer (whereas οὐ (ou) G3756 expects an affirmative one)) whether; any but (that), X forbear, + God forbid, + lack, lest, neither, never, no (X wise in), none, nor, (can-)not, nothing, that not, un(-taken), without.
