2 Corinthians 1:16
| ← 2 Corinthians 1:15 | 2 Corinthians 1:16 (KJV) | 2 Corinthians 1:17 → |
|---|---|---|
And in this confidence I was minded to come unto you before, that ye might have a second benefit;
|
And to pass by you into Macedonia, and to come again out of Macedonia unto you, and of you to be brought on my way toward Judaea.
|
When I therefore was thus minded, did I use lightness? or the things that I purpose, do I purpose according to the flesh, that with me there should be yea yea, and nay nay?

- G1330 — διέρχομαι (diérchomai, dee-er'-khom-ahee): from διά (diá) G1223 and ἔρχομαι (érchomai) G2064; to traverse (literally); come, depart, go (about, abroad, everywhere, over, through, throughout), pass (by, over, through, throughout), pierce through, travel, walk through
- G1519 — εἰς (eis, ice): a primary preposition; to or into (indicating the point reached or entered), of place, time, or (figuratively) purpose (result, etc.); also in adverbial phrases; (abundant-)ly, against, among, as, at, (back-)ward, before, by, concerning, + continual, + far more exceeding, for (intent, purpose), fore, + forth, in (among, at, unto, -so much that, -to), to the intent that, + of one mind, + never, of, (up-)on, + perish, + set at one again, (so) that, therefore(-unto), throughout, til, to (be, the end, -ward), (here-)until(-to), …ward, (where-)fore, with.
