Strong's References
- G769 — ἀσθένεια (asthéneia, as-then'-i-ah): from ἀσθενής (asthenḗs) G772; feebleness (of mind or body); by implication, malady; morally, frailty; disease, infirmity, sickness, weakness
- G846 — αὐτός (autós, ow-tos'): from the particle αὖ (aû) (perhaps akin to the base of ἀήρ (aḗr) G109 through the idea of a baffling wind) (backward); the reflexive pronoun self, used (alone or in the comparative ἑαυτοῦ (heautoû) G1438) of the third person , and (with the proper personal pronoun) of the other persons; her, it(-self), one, the other, (mine) own, said, (self-), the) same, ((him-, my-, thy- )self, (your-)selves, she, that, their(-s), them(-selves), there(-at, - by, -in, -into, -of, -on, -with), they, (these) things, this (man), those, together, very, which. Compare αὑτοῦ (hautoû) G848.
- G941 — βαστάζω (bastázō, bas-tad'-zo): perhaps remotely derived from the base of βάσις (básis) G939 (through the idea of removal); to lift, literally or figuratively (endure, declare, sustain, receive, etc.); bear, carry, take up
- G1223 — διά (diá, dee-ah'): a primary preposition denoting the channel of an act; through (in very wide applications, local, causal, or occasional); after, always, among, at, to avoid, because of (that), briefly, by, for (cause) … fore, from, in, by occasion of, of, by reason of, for sake, that, thereby, therefore, X though, through(-out), to, wherefore, with (-in). In composition it retains the same general importance.
- G2257 — ἡμῶν (hēmōn, hay-mone'): genitive case plural of ἐγώ (egṓ) G1473; of (or from) us; our (company), us, we
- G2268 — Ἡσαΐας (Hēsaḯas, hay-sah-ee'-as): of Hebrew origin (H3470); Hesaias (i.e. Jeshajah), an Israelite; Esaias
- G2532 — καί (kaí, kahee): apparently, a primary particle, having a copulative and sometimes also a cumulative force; and, also, even, so then, too, etc.; often used in connection (or composition) with other particles or small words; and, also, both, but, even, for, if, or, so, that, then, therefore, when, yet
- G2983 — λαμβάνω (lambánō, lam-ban'-o): a prolonged form of a primary verb, which is use only as an alternate in certain tenses; to take (in very many applications, literally and figuratively (properly objective or active, to get hold of; whereas δέχομαι (déchomai) G1209 is rather subjective or passive, to have offered to one; while αἱρέομαι (hairéomai) G138 is more violent, to seize or remove)); accept, + be amazed, assay, attain, bring, X when I call, catch, come on (X unto), + forget, have, hold, obtain, receive (X after), take (away, up)
- G3004 — λέγω (légō, leg'-o): a primary verb; properly, to "lay" forth, i.e. (figuratively) relate (in words (usually of systematic or set discourse; whereas ἔπω (épō) G2036 and φημί (phēmí) G5346 generally refer to an individual expression or speech respectively; while ῥέω (rhéō) G4483 is properly to break silence merely, and λαλέω (laléō) G2980 means an extended or random harangue)); by implication, to mean; ask, bid, boast, call, describe, give out, name, put forth, say(-ing, on), shew, speak, tell, utter
- G3554 — νόσος (nósos, nos'-os): of uncertain affinity; a malady (rarely figuratively, of moral disability); disease, infirmity, sickness
- G3704 — ὅπως (hópōs, hop'-oce): from ὅς (hós) G3739 and πῶς (pōs) G4459; what(-ever) how, i.e. in the manner that (as adverb or conjunction of coincidence, intentional or actual); because, how, (so) that, to, when
- G4137 — πληρόω (plēróō, play-ro'-o): from πλήρης (plḗrēs) G4134; to make replete, i.e. (literally) to cram (a net), level up (a hollow), or (figuratively) to furnish (or imbue, diffuse, influence), satisfy, execute (an office), finish (a period or task), verify (or coincide with a prediction), etc.; accomplish, X after, (be) complete, end, expire, fill (up), fulfil, (be, make) full (come), fully preach, perfect, supply
- G4396 — προφήτης (prophḗtēs, prof-ay'-tace): from a compound of πρό (pró) G4253 and φημί (phēmí) G5346; a foreteller ("prophet"); by analogy, an inspired speaker; by extension, a poet; prophet
- G4483 — ῥέω (rhéō, hreh'-o): perhaps akin (or identical) with ῥέω (rhéō) G4482 (through the idea of pouring forth); to utter, i.e. speak or say; command, make, say, speak (of). Compare λέγω (légō) G3004.
