Strong's References
- G1453 — ἐγείρω (egeírō, eg-i'-ro): probably akin to the base of ἀγορά (agorá) G58 (through the idea of collecting one's faculties); to waken (transitively or intransitively), i.e. rouse (literally, from sleep, from sitting or lying, from disease, from death; or figuratively, from obscurity, inactivity, ruins, nonexistence); awake, lift (up), raise (again, up), rear up, (a-)rise (again, up), stand, take up
- G2532 — καί (kaí, kahee): apparently, a primary particle, having a copulative and sometimes also a cumulative force; and, also, even, so then, too, etc.; often used in connection (or composition) with other particles or small words; and, also, both, but, even, for, if, or, so, that, then, therefore, when, yet
- G2962 — κύριος (kýrios, koo'-ree-os): from κῦρος (kŷros) (supremacy); supreme in authority, i.e. (as noun) controller; by implication, Master (as a respectful title); God, Lord, master, Sir
- G3004 — λέγω (légō, leg'-o): a primary verb; properly, to "lay" forth, i.e. (figuratively) relate (in words (usually of systematic or set discourse; whereas ἔπω (épō) G2036 and φημί (phēmí) G5346 generally refer to an individual expression or speech respectively; while ῥέω (rhéō) G4483 is properly to break silence merely, and λαλέω (laléō) G2980 means an extended or random harangue)); by implication, to mean; ask, bid, boast, call, describe, give out, name, put forth, say(-ing, on), shew, speak, tell, utter
- G3689 — ὄντως (óntōs, on'-toce): adverb of the oblique cases of ὤν (ṓn) G5607; really; certainly, clean, indeed, of a truth, verily
- G3700 — ὀπτάνομαι (optánomai, op-tan'-om-ahee): a (middle voice) prolonged form of the primary (middle voice) ὄπτομαι (óptomai) op'-tom-ahee; which is used for it in certain tenses; and both as alternate of ὁράω (horáō) G3708; to gaze (i.e. with wide-open eyes, as at something remarkable; and thus differing from βλέπω (blépō) G991, which denotes simply voluntary observation; and from εἴδω (eídō) G1492, which expresses merely mechanical, passive or casual vision; while θεάομαι (theáomai) G2300, and still more emphatically its intensive θεωρέω (theōréō) G2334, signifies an earnest but more continued inspection; and σκοπέω (skopéō) G4648 a watching from a distance); appear, look, see, shew self
- G3754 — ὅτι (hóti, hot'-ee): neuter of ὅστις (hóstis) G3748 as conjunction; demonstrative, that (sometimes redundant); causative, because; as concerning that, as though, because (that), for (that), how (that), (in) that, though, why
- G4613 — Σίμων (Símōn, see'-mone): of Hebrew origin (H8095); Simon (i.e. Shimon), the name of nine Israelites; Simon. Compare Συμεών (Symeṓn) G4826.
The following Strong's numbers are referenced in the Greek (Textus Receptus, Scrivener 1894) text but were not explicitly tagged in the KJV source:
- G3588 — ὁ (ho, ho): the definite article; the (sometimes to be supplied, at others omitted, in English idiom); the, this, that, one, he, she, it, etc
